Allan has lived for most of his life in Burlington. He was in the automotive business for over 43 years and was president of Discovery Ford Burlington. He sold the company to the Leggat Auto Group in 2019 and retired.
He has sat on numerous Boards, including the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington Foundation, Burlington Performing Arts Centre as Chair, and is currently Vice-Chair of the Canadian Ford Dealer and Associates Pension Board.

Anthony has a Master of Business Administration degree from McMaster University, professional accounting designation (CPA CA), USA accounting designation (CPA) and a professional finance and investment designation (CFA). He has held numerous leadership roles including Chair, President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Board of Director member.
He has led numerous inaugural initiatives including establishing Ontario's first $30 billion electricity market debt securitization investor program, Board of Directors' governance mandates, global investment and risk mandates (including new asset classes), global insurance programs, and proprietary credit risk programs. Anthony has worked in Canada and Bermuda for publicly traded organizations.

Ashley joined the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation in 2012 and has held progressively senior roles, serving as Chief Development Officer since 2019 before being appointed President & CEO in February 2024.
Ashley is deeply committed to ensuring our community has access to the very best healthcare, close to home, and is passionate about inspiring philanthropy for our hospital to thrive.
Prior to coming to JBHF, Ashley spent eight years as a professional fundraiser for Trillium Health Partners Foundation in Mississauga, and for the Gardiner Museum in Toronto.
Ashley has held the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation since 2020 and is a member in good standing with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). She is a graduate of Western University, completed a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western University and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management from Sheridan College.

David graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelors of Arts in English.
He received his law degree from Dalhousie Law School, including a Certification in Business
Law. David was subsequently called to the Ontario bar in 2008.
He is a partner of Agro Zaffiro LLP in Hamilton, Ontario. Since his call to the bar, David's legal

Deepa is a registered physiotherapist with over 25 years experience treating pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric athletes. She is currently self-employed as a physiotherapist, and a Learning Facilitator for Sport For Life Physical Literacy programs.
A life-long resident of Hamilton-Burlington, Deepa is very involved in her community as the current President of Beta Sigma Phi Burlington City Council, and a 13 year member of Beta Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Burlington (a women's organization serving the community).
Over the past 15 years, she has actively participated on Parent Councils at Fairview Glen Montessori School and John T. Tuck Public School, and acted as team trainer and assistant coach for G01Y competitive soccer team (BYSC). Deepa and her husband have been married for 24 years, and have raised their four children in Hamilton/Burlington since 2001. In her down-time, she enjoys family game night (which gets too competitive, too fast!), walking their goofy black Lab, reading, and being with friends.
Dr. Harrison obtained his Medical Doctorate at McMaster University and completed his postgraduate residency training at the University of Western Ontario. As a hospitalist, Dr. Harrison works with patients who have been admitted to the hospital for general medical concerns. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Harrison was the hospitalist lead for the development of Joseph Brant Hospital's integrated stroke unit and also previously was the lead hospitalist on a working group to improve care processes for patients who are admitted to Joseph Brant Hospital following a hip fracture.
Dr. Harrison remains actively involved at McMaster University as a Clinical Adjunct Professor for the Michael G DeGroote School of Medicine. He enjoys teaching medical students and residents. He has previously been awarded Preceptor of the Year for the Halton Regional Site of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Harrison grew up in Burlington and always planned to return to Burlington after his medical training to practice medicine. Dr. Harrison enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. When not working, Dr. Harrison enjoys running, skiing, and playing soccer.

Eric Vandewall is President and CEO of Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) in Burlington, a position he assumed in 2009.

Jen is a Tax Partner at BDO Canada LLP. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holder of a Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McMaster University.
Jen is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants. She is also a member of the Estate Planners Committee of Halton (EPCOH) and is a group study leader for the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course. She is a past Board of Director for the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society and the Ontario Harness Horse Association.
As the proud founder of The Brand House, Jen believes in the power of community and its collective ability to inspire and lift in meaningful ways. From her 20+ years as an award-winning Creative Director, she understands that marketing has little to do with products and services and everything to do with building consensus and connection.
Four years ago, she launched Collective Photo Co., where she redesigned the traditional photographer's mini session with her renowned ‘Take 10' Signature Sessions. Today, Jen's shoots sell out in less than 24 hours all over Toronto and the GTA, and her modern aesthetic is known as both moving and memorable. With over 15 years of focus in portraiture, she also shoots for top Canadian brands, well-known executives and popular influencers for various publications, digital mediums and PR opportunities.

Luisa's long-time engagement with the local communities of Hamilton and Burlington are evident in both education and volunteerism. Upon graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, Luisa articled with Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants in Hamilton, achieving her CA designation. During her varied career path, Luisa held positions in finance, marketing, and sales, and is a retired member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
Luisa has co-chaired fundraising events for local schools, always with a focus on enhancing the students' experience. She has Board level experience on the professional side, as well as cultural and community. Luisa feels most fortunate to have spent several years in the academic environment. She served as the Director of Budgeting and then as a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. She has also had the pleasure of lecturing in Business Administration and Small Business Management at Mohawk College.

Marianeve (Maria) Maffia is Vice President of Finance & Operations of RSR Global and Dragonfly id and has worked for these organizations for the past 19 years. In her role, she is a Hybrid individual responsible and involved in accounting, finance, HR, operations, IT and business development. Maria is a graduate of University of Waterloo, with a Bachelor in Mathematics and a Masters of Accounting.
Maria received her CPA, CA designation in December 1997 and fulfilled her time requirements of the profession with Ernst & Young in London, Ontario. Maria and her husband Pietro Ciasullo, have been married for 16 years and Burlington residents since marriage. They have a beautiful & energetic ginger daughter Giuliana (aka GNC). Maria enjoys travelling, staying active in keeping up with her toddler, power walking, working out and experiencing new dining atmospheres and food!

Oz Zafar is an experienced Commercial Banker with a proven track record of servicing mid-market commercial companies. In his current role as Vice-President, GTA West TD Bank, Oz leads a strong team of Business Bankers covering Halton Region. Oz has been with TD Bank for 16 years, having started his career as a Customer Experience Associate while attending the University of Toronto.
Oz is an active volunteer and supporter of United Way Halton & Hamilton. He has served as an Executive Member of the Campaign Cabinet for the last two years and is also Chair of their New Business Committee.
Oz and his wife Courtney have lived in Burlington for over 20 years and have two children. Oz enjoys reading, golfing, and traveling with his family.
Rembert De Villa is CEO and Vice-Chairman of CareSpan Holdings. He joined CareSpan as an investor and Member of the Board of Directors in December 2017. In August 2018, he joined
the management team of the Company as CEO and has since led the formation and execution of CareSpan's strategy of Integrated Digital Care. He also sits on the Board of SmartCare Germany
