LPDM FINE ART - Key Persons
With her Fine Arts degree from Vanderbilt University behind her, Lauren P. Della Monica applied her interests to a graduate degree from Christie ™s Education in Connoisseurship. From there, she gained additional experience at the Michael Rosenfeld Gallery, a well regarded American paintings gallery in Manhattan, and worked within the Citibank Private Bank Art Advisory Service. To complement her fine arts education and training, Lauren obtained her juris doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School, and practiced commercial litigation and art law before she established LPDM Fine Art in 2004. In addition to her advisory work for clients, Lauren is an author and curator. Her first book, a visual survey of 19th century American marine painting (Flying the Colors), was published in 2009. 2013 brought the launch of Painted Landscapes: Contemporary Views (Schiffer Publishing) which became a museum exhibition in 2017. Lauren's next title, Bodies of Work: Contemporary Figurative Painting, was published in 2016.
