MENTAL HEALTH AND LAW

Dr. Cottle has been an invited to speak with local universities, graduate schools, law schools, and government and legislative committees on topics related to juvenile delinquency and forensic psychological evaluation procedures. She has also been directly involved in collaborating with leaders in North Carolina on juvenile justice matters, including: juvenile "transfer" standards and procedures, defining the age of juvenile jurisdiction ("Raise the Age" and "Raise the Floor"), capacity to proceed statutes for juveniles in North Carolina.
