Anand Piramal is the Executive Director of Piramal Group, Non-Executive Director of Piramal Enterprises Limited and Founder of Piramal Realty. He founded Piramal Realty in 2012, and played a pivotal role in the acquisition of prime land parcels across Mumbai, building of a great team and the designing of world-class developments. In 2015, he also raised US$ 434 Million from Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus for the growth of the company. This is one of the largest private equity investments in real estate in India. Anand was conferred with the Hurun Real Estate Unicorn of the Year Award (2017) by Hurun India and Young Business Leader Award by Hello! Magazine (2018). The awards recognize Anand's role in steering Piramal Group's successful foray into the real estate industry and growing Piramal Realty to one of the most admired real estate companies. Prior to Piramal Realty, Anand founded a rural healthcare start-up called ‘Piramal eSwasthya', where he spearheaded the acquisition of HMRI (Health Management Research Institute). Today the merged entity ‘Piramal Swasthya' is India's largest private primary healthcare initiative. Its 2,260 employees and 250 doctors serve 20,000 patients daily across 20 states with the help of health hotlines, mobile medical units and telemedicine centres. Mr. Harinder Sikka is the Group Director - Strategic Business at Piramal Enterprises and has been with the Group for over 2 decades. He has been conferred the ‘Long Service Award' by the Piramal Group. Mr. Sikka is a former Lieutenant Commander from the Indian Navy. Over the last 20 years of his career, Jairam has served in a range of domestic and international retail finance roles. Prior to his current role at Piramal Group, Jairam has handled a variety of roles at Axis Bank. He was previously President, Retail Lending & Payments at Axis Bank. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth in the retail lending and payments businesses comprising retail lending products (home, car, personal & other loans), cards business (credit, debit & prepaid) and the agriculture & rural lending business.
