PRIDE STABLES

The Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program (CODRP)/Pride Stables was established in 1973 and became incorporated in 1974. As the program began to grow, it was relocated to Pineview Stables in Shakespeare. At Pineview, the horses and arena time were leased from the owners. As the public's demand for the service increased, the board of directors voted to expand again, this time to a facility operated by the CODRP/Pride Stables... To provide a safe, high quality riding program for persons with disabilities. The program fosters personal growth and improvement through the use of horses as a medium for development and therapy, with the assistance of volunteers.
