Rock Ridge Canvas is a Minnesota corporation formed in 2007, but the story begins long before that. All the way back in the late 1800's, innovative pioneers realized that the tough and durable canvas being used for awnings and tents would make incredibly sturdy packs and bags for camping, work, and everyday use. Various companies have popularized these products over the years, but have always followed a traditional model of high-overhead, high-markup distribution direct to consumers... Rock Ridge Canvas is committed to donating a percentage of our sales to charitable and philanthropic organizations that work toward making our world a better place... At Rock Ridge Canvas, our founder and CEO - TJ Johnson - saw an opportunity to combine several business concepts that have typically clashed with each other in a new and revolutionary way. "Outside the box" might be an understatement (maybe "throwing the box out" is more like it!), but in any case, his vision was to invent a business..
