Angie D'Annibale

She believes strongly in the value of relationships and customer service. Angie's 10 years in the education sector, coupled with her training/consulting experience, helps provide clients with the support, resources, and information they require.

Dawn Kidder

Dawn Kidder has been a Trainer Consultant with the Safe Management Group (SMG) since August 2015. Prior to joining the SMG team, Dawn worked in various capacities for 25 years in both residential and community based social services. Throughout her work and experiences, she has had the privilege to meet and support many families; as well as individual children, youth and adults who were struggling with Additions, Mental Health and Homelessness / Street Involvement. Throughout this time Dawn also supported staff teams and community agencies by providing education and training in many areas; including Crisis Management and Compassion Fatigue, Vicarious Trauma and Burn Out. As a Safe Management Trainer Consultant, Dawn provides consultation and education to individuals, staff teams, and agencies in order to promote and increase personal and client safety through the understanding and development of effective prevention and management strategies.

Denis Beenen

Job Titles:

Denis has been working with Safe Management as a Trainer & Consultant since 2013. He is the Team Lead for Safe Management Group's Treatment Homes overseeing the safety of the treatment programs. This role has provided Denis considerable experience working with children and adults with challenging needs. Denis has his Bachelors degrees in Education, and PEH/Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. He has spent over a decade as a martial arts and self-defense instructor teaching movement, awareness, and techniques for personal safety and protection.

Dr. Bruce Linder

Dr. Linder received his Ph.D. in 1985 from McMaster University in Experimental Psychology (Developmental). He interned at the Behavioural Medicine Unit at St. Joseph's Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario and at the Hamilton Board of Education in 1984-1986. He registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in 1986, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral level and is a member of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (CRHSPP). He co-founded the private practice of Pryor, Linder and Associates in Oakville with Dr. Colin Pryor in 1985. Dr. Linder is a Vice-President with Safe Management Group Inc. Dr. Linder's designated area of specialization is rehabilitation psychology. He is currently Clinical Director at Brain Injury Services of Hamilton, consulting behavioural psychologist to the Central West Specialized Developmental Services in Oakville and consulting psychologist to a number of school boards. He has in the past provided behaviour psychological consultation to the Acquired Brain Injury Program at CMHS of St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton and the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, McMaster University.

Mike Fulmer

Mike has worked in the Adolescent Mental Health sector for 25 years, including a secure Youth Justice facility. He also has experience working with Acquired Brain Injury, teaching Positive Parenting programs, and managing a retirement residence. Over a 32-year period he has trained line staff and trainers in approved Crisis Intervention programs for use in the Mental Health, Youth Justice, Developmental, and Health Care sectors. In this role he has always been committed to improving the safety and well-being of the staff working in these difficult and under-appreciated fields.

Valerie Wong

Valerie attended the University of Windsor obtaining BA in psychology, she also attended Humber College and completed her diploma in Developmental Service Work. She has experience working with individuals in the developmental disabilities sector, as well as, individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Wade McKone

Job Titles:
  • Director of Training and Development
Wade McKone is the Director of Training and Development at Safe Management Group Inc. He has extensive experience working in high risk, complex care environments in clinical, leadership, training and risk management roles. He's been providing training in violence prevention and crisis intervention, with a specialization in customized physical interventions for over 20 years. He is well-versed in adult learning strategies, group facilitation and fostering change and new ideas through collaborative relationships. Over the last thirteen years, Wade has enjoyed his free time, fulfilling the role as an Auxiliary Police Officer with the London Police Service. Wade's entire professional career has been dedicated to effective crisis intervention with a focus on verbal de-escalation; he approaches this topic with passion, energy and integrity.
