Abe Gruber

Bio As the vice president of strategic growth and operations, Abe provides leadership for Softdocs' sales, revenue operations, and IT teams. Abe is passionate about education and the latest in technology - specifically about how the two intersect in a game-changing way for campuses and their missions. Abe has nearly 20 years of experience in education, both on-campus and in education technology. He joins Softdocs after six years with Liaison International via their acquisition of TargetX. At Liaison, Abe achieved record growth within new business for US and international clients while leading sales operations and serving as the chief technical architect for the sales and client success teams. In his downtime, Abe is an avid global traveler and sociocultural anthropologist who avoids middle seats on airplanes at all costs. Adam Park - CEO

Adam Park joined Softdocs in 2021 as Chief Executive Officer after 25 years of leadership experience in education technology and education equity organizations. Adam is passionate about student success across all levels of education and drives Softdocs' vision for eliminating the barriers that prevent schools from focusing on student and organizational success. Prior to Softdocs, Adam was the Chief Revenue Officer at TargetX, a leading CRM company that partners with hundreds of colleges and universities to help schools achieve their enrollment and student success goals. Throughout his career, Adam has held senior leadership positions across sales, client services, and operations at leading companies such as Liaison International, Embark.com, and The Princeton Review, where he worked with K-12 school districts across the country to improve student outcomes.

Andrea Link

Bio As the senior vice president of engineering and cloud operations, Andrea Link strives to achieve Softdocs' mission to eliminate technology barriers so schools can transform student lives. She is a passionate advocate for building products that customers love to use, which requires a team of innovators and critical thinkers who understand and empathize with product users. The result is intuitive, modern, scalable products. Andrea champions transparency, alignment, and empowerment across the organization by adapting agile processes through feedback and metrics. Andrea has more than a decade of higher education experience, most notably serving the last eleven years at DIGARC, a company focused on connected, integrated curriculum for higher education. She started as a product manager who conceptualized, designed, and launched DIGARC's second product, Curriculog, a curriculum process, and workflow engine, and served for nearly two years as the vice president of product development, where she built a SaaS product portfolio and a collaborative product and engineering team through scaled agile. Andrea recharges her batteries through cooking, writing, and traveling with her husband and daughter. She especially enjoys adventures through the United States National Park System and recently completed an exhilarating climb to the summit of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. Andrea Robinson - CFO

Bio As the Softdocs head of finance and controller, Andrea Robinson is responsible for all the company's financial functions, including accounting, audit, financial reporting, and management of our finance teams. Andrea brings over a decade of financial leadership and most recently served as director and controller at Caring.com, a leading online platform for connecting families with resources to care for their aging family members. Outside of her workday, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs. She especially enjoys traveling and visiting family and friends. Andrea is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bryant University and a master's degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Benji Whitney

Bio As senior director and head of client services, Benji Whitney provides leadership for Softdocs's professional services team. In this role, Benji optimizes Softdocs's services delivery model to provide ideal experiences for our clients as they implement our solutions within their organizations. Benji is responsible for ensuring that the Softdocs's professional services team provides world-class project delivery services to ensure our clients achieve maximum value from their solution(s). Benji has over 20 years of IT experience in several areas including consulting and research & development. His diverse career has included stints at small companies and larger organizations, such as IBM and H&R Block, and includes over ten years of ECM focus. Education A bachelor's degree in business and management information systems from the University of Oklahoma.

Billy Smith

Bio Billy joined Softdocs part-time in 2010 and became full-time in 2012 after graduating from the University of South Carolina. He has worked primarily as a member of the professional services team prior to helping create and lead our Client Success team in 2021. As Director of Client Success, Billy provides leadership for Softdocs's Client Success vision and strategy, while also being responsible for driving growth through client renewals and expansions. Billy oversees Softdocs's work to build relationships with our clients, helping us understand how they define success and ensuring the voice of the client is present in every discussion and decision we make. Prior to joining Softdocs, Billy served as a Legislative Aide in the South Carolina House of Representatives and upon his election in 2014 served as a South Carolina County Council Member. He lives outside of Savannah, GA with his wife and dog and outside of work Billy enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and slowly sipping fine bourbons.

Christie Williams

Bio As vice president of employee success, Christie Williams brings a strategic, people-first, approach to the growth and success of our team. Through supporting a strong corporate culture and strengthening our total benefits and rewards, Christie is continuing to drive forward Softdocs' legacy as a best place to work. Prior to Softdocs, Christie managed people operations and development in roles across several sectors, including tech startups, entrepreneurial communities, and even wastewater treatment! Christie enjoys digging into data and trends to find the best support for the team, and develops operational processes to enable the team to perform the best work of their careers. Christie also enjoys curating inclusive communities in high-growth, high-impact organizations. In her time away from the office, Christie enjoys relaxing with her husband and two teen daughters, as well as their three dogs. Christie is an advocate for mental and behavioral health. Dan Dillon

Bio Dan Dillon joined Softdocs in 2023 as senior vice president of marketing. Dan has more than 15 years of leadership experience in growth marketing, pipeline and demand generation, product and content marketing. He has previously served in leadership roles at enterprise content management, business process management, and artificial intelligence companies. Prior to Softdocs, Dan served as chief marketing officer at Reveal Mobile, where he helped triple company revenue organically and via acquisition. He has held senior marketing leadership positions at Automated Insights, which was acquired by Vista Equity Partners; Litera, which merged with Microsystems and The Sackett Group; and Perceptive Software, which was acquired by Hyland; and Cerner. Dan began his professional career as a high school English teacher and served in the U.S. Peace Corps.

Gary Young

Bio As senior vice president of sales and client success, Gary plays a pivotal role in Softdocs' continued growth across the public sector and ensuring the company's expanding client base realizes maximal value from its investment in cloud-based process automation and document management solutions. Gary is responsible for ensuring that Softdocs' teams provide highly responsive, value-based and efficient world-class sales and client support. He has over two decades of global leadership experience with SaaS-based technology companies in the areas of sales, services and customer success. His business and technical acumen spans the areas of analytics, data science and AI to modernized document management and process automation solutions. Gary received an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Appalachian State University.

Scott Craig

Bio Scott Craig joined Softdocs in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Product & Strategy after over 20 years of experience in the content services space for higher education, government, financial services and healthcare. Scott is passionate about delivering software that helps organizations achieve exceptional results. Prior to Softdocs, Scott was the VP of Product Management at Hyland, a leading content services provider. Throughout his career, Scott has held senior leadership positions across product management, engineering, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and agile delivery at leading companies such as Perceptive Software, Primedia Business and Atwood Publishing. Scott is a governing board member at Platte River Academy where he has led strategic campus planning, preschool expansion and a free school lunch program. He is also active in hunger prevention organizations like Hunger Free Colorado.

Steve Johnston - COO
