DR. MARTIN RAY

Dr. Ray is recognized as a national and international expert in aesthetic medicine for skin and body rejuvenation. He is highly engaged in the Medical Aesthetics industry, regularly delivering presentations and participating in conferences worldwide as cutting-edge technologies and techniques continue to evolve. Dr. Ray is a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine, and currently serves as a Director and Executive Board Member for the British Columbia Society of Aesthetic Physicians. He is a published author and a key opinion leader for multiple advisory boards and instructs physicians and nurses through lecture and hands-on practicums. After graduating from Yale University, Magna Cum Laude with honours and distinction, he completed Medical School at McMaster University and was selected Chief Intern at the University of Toronto, Scarborough General Hospital. Dr. Ray went on to complete his Family Medicine training at the University of British Columbia and has practiced medicine for over 35 years. In addition to being committed to making a difference in his patients' lives, Dr. Ray is an enthusiastic and active member of the community. He supports numerous local initiatives, including youth sports, local school programs, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Vancouver, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Delta Community Hospital Foundation, Hockey Helps the Homeless, and the Little House Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Society. Most importantly, Dr. Ray is a compassionate, caring physician who embodies trust in his patients, staff, and colleagues. When not practicing aesthetic and sports medicine, Dr. Ray can be found playing hockey, skiing Whistler, canoeing rapids in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, or paddleboarding with the whales in the Pacific Ocean. He also enjoys swimming; biking; yoga; and spending time with his wife, Dr. Judith Fletcher, three children, and grandchildren.
