Kimberly Moudy

Kimberly Moudy, has over 15 years as a Paralegal in Criminal Defense and Family Law Practice firms. Prior to becoming a Paralegal, she was certified as a "lay counselor" and was allowed to work with a various group of people under the direction of a Licensed Professional Counselor through the church she attended. She is also an entrepreneur at heart and had a national children's accessories and custom bedding company in which she designed and produced accessories for children from the ages of 0 - 6 years of age. Additional certifications she has obtained are as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist and is an accredited mediator for all civil and family cases. Kimberly enjoys learning and most of all enjoys working with people and helping them gain resolution to whatever is troubling them.

Nicolas C. Wohr

Nicolas Wohr graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus in Political Philosophy and Criminal Statistics. While at UTD Nicolas was a member of the Innocence Project of Texas through the UTD Honor's Program where he worked with Jeff Blackburn and Doctor Anthony Champagne to review cases for the potential exoneration of innocent men and women. He later went on to Oklahoma City University School of Law where he was offered a scholarship and earned multiple CALI awards as the highest ranked student in each course. He was a Staff Member of the Oklahoma City Law Review and later he became a Board Member and Resource Editor helping to produce and publish OCU Law Review Journals. While at OCU Nicolas focused on Criminal Law and wrote a Law Review Note on Consent Searches after the controversial Supreme Court decision in Schneckloth v. While Serving as Resource Editor, Nicolas was also published for his contributions to a Journal Tribute to Daniel J. Morgan. During his time at OCU he also served as Vice President for the Agricultural and Environmental Law Group for two years. He went on to Graduate Magna Cum Laude and interned for the Bankruptcy Firm Mee, Mee, Hoge & Epperson before taking the Texas State Bar in 2016. Nicolas has had an interest in Criminal Law throughout his life. He interned for Katy Klinke, Greg Boling, and his father Stephen Wohr while attending high school and undergraduate at UTD. Since he began to practice law for Stephen Wohr & Associates, Nicolas has practiced in Tarrant, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Grayson, Wise, Parker, Kaufman, Montague, and Potter County. He has earned a reputation of zealous and dedicated defense of his clients. As of the writing of this biography, Nicolas has received an Acquittal in every jury trial where he was lead counsel for the defense. He continues to receive high praise from his clients, community members, and colleagues for his thorough review of discovery, knowledge of the law, and high dismissal rates. Nicolas was recently elected as the youngest serving member of the Denton County Bail Bond Board as the Attorney Representative.

Rachel Olivarez

Rachel Olivarez graduated from Baylor University in 2022 with a Bachelors in Political Science, with a focus in Poverty Studies and Social Justice. While Rachel is working for our firm, she is also in the process of applying to law schools to further her educational career and pursue her goal of becoming an attorney.

Stephen Wohr

Stephen Wohr has been in practice in Denton County for 25 years. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and New York. He has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1991. Mr. Wohr graduated from the State University of New York with a Bachelors degree focused on Legal Studies in 1986 and the Cardozo School of Law, New York, with his Juris Doctorate in 1989. In addition to his continuously maintained private practice, from 1991 through the present, he has had many years of experience in positions with the local government. In 1996 he was appointed by the Commissioners Court of Denton County as a Magistrate Judge for five years. In 1996 he held a seat on the City Counsel of Lake Dallas, Texas, for two years, and in 1998 he was elected as the Mayor of Lake Dallas, Texas, a position he held for the following six years. Mr. Wohr is admitted to practice law in all Texas State Courts, the Texas Northern District Court, the Texas Northern Bankruptcy Court, and most other Federal Courts by special request. He frequently travels to Collin, Dallas, Tarrant, Grayson, and other counties in North Texas to represent clients in court.
