Raised by Greek immigrant parents from Sparta (you saw the movie 300 right?) who were entrepreneurs themselves, Helen learned from a young age the importance of possessing strong work ethic. Her first job in the tech arena was in a one-man distribution company in the computer industry. At the age of 22, she was learning what was needed for her to ultimately follow her dream of starting her own business. Two years later in July 1995, Xcel was born.
Helen loves nature and the outdoors and her favourite animal is the monkey. She enjoyed part-time studies at a local Mississauga culinary school as a home chef, and she likes to experiment with new recipes for her teenage son when he's back in Mississauga from Queen's University. She is also studying Spanish in her spare time for interest and travel. This year she was nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award "Women of Influence".

In June of 2016, John joined Xcel Source Corp. as Director of Sales and operations and is responsible for helping shape and grow sales and bring efficiencies to Xcel Sources overall business. John has over 20 years of experience in the North American Retail Industry, where he has held leadership positions at Synnex Canada, Mitac /Mio and Navarre Canada. In his 11 year tenure at Synnex, John was instrumental in the growth of Synnex Canada's retail presence by helping with all aspects of customer, vendor and business development.
Rama joined Xcel in Oct'17, having over 15 years of experience in Accounting & Controlling field in Multi-national companies in Dubai. Born and brought up in India, she lived more than 20 years in Dubai and Singapore, recently migrating to Canada. Rama is a mother of two teenage boys (a challenge to manage, seriously) and is very much into following a holistic lifestyle. Passionate about social work, Rama enjoys volunteering and participating in religious activities.

Richard joined Xcel Source in May of 2018 to manage the growing product portfolio and to work with all vendors new and current, as well as marketing and purchasing. With a diverse background in product management, marketing and sales, he is able to understand the business from many point of views. Richard has worked at companies such as Ingram Micro, Dell, Nokia, and Nintendo servicing many customer segments including distributors, retailers, resellers and carriers. In his spare time Richard enjoys a good movie, playing ice hockey or doing a DIY project. He most enjoys the great outdoors and basking in the hot sun on preferable a private island in the tropics somewhere.
