Derek Stewart

Derek commenced with 525 Accountancy in March 2023 and is responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable. He has over 20 years' experience working in the Finance Sector and worked his way up from Credit Controller to Accounts Receivable Team Leader and also Accounts Payable Team Leader.

Gillian Simpson

  • Business Development Director
With over 18 years PA experience, Gillian joined the firm in May 2014 as Business Development Manager and has gone on to be their Business Development Director. Gillian's role within is to create business, speak to prospective clients, gaining an understanding of their requirements and seeing the process through from start to finish. She also supervises the Administration Department with the assistance of the Administration Manager to ensure that all 525's clients' needs and expectations are made.

Leanne Andrews

Job Titles:
  • Administration Support Manager
Leanne joined with the firm in January 2017 as a Junior Administrator and over the years she has worked her way up to the position of Administration Support Manager. She Sophie in the running of the Administration Department.

Lorna McDonald

Job Titles:
  • Accounts and Tax Manager
My last employer was Ideagen Plc where I worked in the finance team, I have an 1st class honours degree in accounting from Glasgow University and I am currently undertaking my ACCA. Before that I was a Quality assurance team leader with many years' experience, establishing procedures and policies, monitoring performance and maximising profitability and internal and external auditing to ISO standards.

Phillip Simpson

Sophie Crooks

Job Titles:
  • Administration Manager
Sophie commenced with the firm in December 2015 as a Junior Administrator and throughout the last two years have proven to be a very valued and respective member of the firm and was promoted to Administration Manager in 2017. She oversees the Administration Department with tasks allocated to them, liaising with clients on a daily basis and assists all the other Departments and the Managing Director as and when required.

Suzanne White

  • Payroll Manager
Suzanne commenced with 525 in November 2021 with 18 years' experience and qualification at HND level. She is responsible for the Department, ensuring deadlines are met and that all clients receive the best possible payroll service and has proved to be a valued asset to the firm.
