James Houston - CFO

Job Titles:

James joined Laleham in May 2022 and leads our Finance and IT departments. James became CIMA qualified (ACMA CGMA) after obtaining a BA Hons degree in Business and Marketing from The Nottingham Trent University. James has since enjoyed a varied career in spanning FMCG, Hospitality and Retail sectors (premium luxury & beauty) in both SME and blue-chip organisations. With experience working for both brands and manufacturers, James brings a wealth of knowledge to Laleham's leadership team. James strives for continuous improvement in people, processes, and customer experience.

Kim Goss - CHRO

Job Titles:
  • HR Officer
  • Human Resources Director
Kim joined the business as HR Officer in 2011. After being promoted to the position of HR Manager in 2012, and following two acquisitions, Kim was appointed HR Director across our sites. Kim completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management whilst working at Laleham. Kim has driven a number of key initiatives across the business ranging from establishing mental health support to developing leadership development programmes. She is active within the wider DCC HR community, attending and contributing to Group activities.

Mark Crawley

Job Titles:
  • Technical Director and Qualified Person
Mark has over 30 years experience within the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, 15 of which have been with Laleham Health & Beauty Mark's experience across quality assurance and control, along with new product development legislation and auditing, is widespread.

Mark Dugan

Job Titles:
  • Operations Director, Morecambe
Mark joined Design Plus in 2004 as Operations Manager, and was appointed as Operations Director in 2007. With thirty years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing and logistics, and fifteen years' experience in the health and beauty sector, Mark and his team have provided the Operations support at our Morecambe site, Design Plus, to enable continued growth.

Nigel Boyle - COO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Operating Officer
Nigel has enjoyed a varied career across a range of Operations and Supply Chain roles, within both the food and personal care industries. After starting his career with Nestlé UK as a graduate trainee, Nigel carried out a number of roles, up to Factory General Manager level within Nestlé UK, Premier Foods, and Morrisons Manufacturing, covering both ambient and short shelf life products. He has also previously held the role of Operations Director within a branded healthcare business, during which time the business was externally recognised for its lean manufacturing journey. As part of his role as Chief Operating Officer, Nigel is responsible for ensuring continued leadership development across the Laleham management team.

Nikki Jordan

Nikki has over 20 years' experience within the beauty industry, and has worked with own label development and with leading brands within the sector more recently. Nikki's experience includes various areas within the beauty industry, from identifying trends and proactive opportunity development, to commercial understanding and strategic brand development, across a wide portfolio of accounts.

Robin Proud - Chief Commercial Officer

Robin is an experienced Commercial Director, with a history of working in the cosmetics and health & beauty industries. Robin's core competencies are based around leadership, negotiation, consumer products, retail, sales and sales management. Robin is a strong business development professional, with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Literature from Lancaster University.

Sarah Fernihough

Sarah joined Laleham Health & Beauty in 2006 at a pivotal time in the strategic direction of the business following the acquisition by DCC. Graduating in European Marketing and French, and with a passion for consumer brands and FMCG, Sarah has worked within the health & beauty trends, development and contract manufacture industry since 1996. Working closely with a broad range of customers from blue chips, high street retailers and premium brands, Sarah has helped to identify, design, deliver and industrialise thousands of successful products from concept to shelf. Since joining Laleham she has worked with the team to enhance the services offered to our global customers, expanding the portfolio and delivering organic and acquisition growth.

Tim O'Connor - Managing Director

Tim joined Laleham in 2007 as Commercial Director and was appointed Managing Director in 2008, he has an MBA and is a qualified accountant (FCMA). Prior to joining Laleham, Tim worked in roles as the Chief Financial Officer at a medium sized listed technology company and in an Aim listed security business. Both organic and acquisitive growth within manufacturing and product development environments have been cornerstones of his experience across different industries

Vicky Hart

Job Titles:
  • Customer Services Director, Alton & Kirkham
Vicky graduated in 2000 with a 2:1 Bachelor of Science degree and went on to work within both Supply Chain and Marketing functions for Co-op Retail Head Office based in Manchester. In 2008, Vicky moved in to the world of print and print management and worked her way up through the ranks to Managing Director before leaving in the Summer of 2020 to join Laleham as Customer Services Director across both the Alton and Kirkham sites. Vicky has responsibility for teams that help ensure our customers receive the best customer experience and supporting them on NPD launches. Vicky has teams working across sites within Demand, NPI and Packaging Technology. Vicky's core competencies include customer service, leadership, communication and negotiation.
