Dr. Jenny Robson is an executive member of AGAR and infectious disease physician and microbiologist who has worked at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology in Brisbane for the past 28 years.
Prior to that she trained at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, and Woden Valley Hospital in Canberra, Australia.
As a pathologist she oversees the Microbiology, Serology and Molecular Pathology Laboratories and has a broad range of interests including travel medicine, tropical medicine, immunisation, zoonoses, public health, antibiotic resistance, infection control and molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases.

Dr Morgyn Warner work has previously focussed on herpes virus entry into cells, resulting in the discovery of a significant new viral receptor. Following graduation, she trained in general internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals before moving to Australia in 2001.
Dr Morgyn Warner, having completed Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Stanford University, underwent MD/PhD training at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, USA. Her PhD work, which focused on herpes virus entry into cells, resulted in the discovery of a significant new viral receptor. Following graduation, she trained in general internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals before moving to Australia in 2001.
After completing training in infectious diseases at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and clinical microbiology at the IMVS, she was appointed Consultant Microbiologist and Infectious Diseases Physician at the IMVS in 2007.
Dr Warner currently provides laboratory microbiology services at the Frome Road and TQEH laboratories, and infectious diseases consultative services at TQEH and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She also contributes to the training of medical students.
Her clinical practice is in general infectious diseases, with particular interest in infections in immunosuppressed patients, including those with HIV, viral hepatitis, haematologic malignancies and organ transplants.
Her laboratory interests are in the area of antimicrobial resistance and the development of a surveillance and reporting system for antimicrobial resistance in South Australia.

Ms. Denise Daley has a 40 year background in medical microbiology in NSW and WA, and currently works for PathWest Laboratory Medicine - WA at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth. Denise has been the Australian Group for Antimicrobial Resistance (AGAR) Scientific Officer since 2011.

Denise has been the Australian Group for Antimicrobial Resistance (AGAR) Scientific Officer since 2011.
She manages the activities of AGAR and coordinates the Australian Staphylococcus aureus Sepsis (ASSOP) and Australian Enterococcus species Sepsis (AESOP) programs.
She is responsible for co-ordinating both the AGAR Executive and Committee meetings.
Denise is also the secretary for the Australian Society for Antimicrobials (ASA) and is involved in many international antimicrobial resistance surveillance programs including the SENTRY surveillance program, SMART (Study for Monitoring Antimicrobial Resistance Trends), and the Astra Zeneca Global Surveillance Study.

Professor Geoffrey Coombs is the Chair of Public Health at the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences, Murdoch University and the Senior Clinical Scientist for PathWest Laboratory Medicine - WA, Fiona Stanley Hospital.
At Murdoch University, he and his colleagues have established a three million dollar one health antimicrobial and infectious diseases research laboratory, which enables his group to perform basic and clinical antimicrobial resistance research on human and animal isolates.

Professor Jon Iredell is a Perth-born Infectious Disease Physician and Microbiologist who spends half his time at Westmead hospital in a combined Infectious Diseases/Microbiology Department and half his time in research supported by NHMRC at the University of Sydney.
His major projects are in critical infection, including the study of bacterial septic shock, and in bacterial genetics and ecology.

Dr. Gottlieb is the immediate past president of the Australian Society for Antimicrobials (ASA) and past president of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID).
He has been chair of advisory committees supervising training in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, and has participated in the writing groups for the Australian Infection Control Guidelines and the national Therapeutic Guidelines for Antibiotic.
His interests include the diagnosis and management of clinical infectious diseases, education in infectious diseases, hospital infection control management, antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship.
