Zhi-Ping Liu obtained his B.S. in 2002 and M.S. in 2005 in Mathematics from Shandong University, and a Ph.D. from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He received his postdoctoral trainings in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from Osaka Sangyo University, Japan and University of Rochester, USA. From 2010 to 2013, he worked at Key Laboratory of Systems Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Associate Professor. Since September 2013, he returned to Shandong University. Currently, he is a Professor of Biomedical Informatics.
