David Erwin has been active in the pool and spa industry since 1991 and has nearly 25 years in Hearth products. Known for his friendly nature, sense of humor and his countless hours of service for members of our community in need, he brings an extraordinary amount of experience to our sales and customer care team.
I have been with Aqua Rec's for 11 years now. I started out as a Front Desk Receptionist, and moved to a Retail Salesperson within the stores. Then I landed where I am now, in the Accounting Office where I am happiest doing accounts receivables and payables. I am a big Seattle sports fan!
My name is Emily Carey, and I work in the service department at the Tacoma location where I am pretty much the first person you speak to when you call our service number. I started working here in the beginning of August of this year, I schedule customers for service appointments when something is broken or not functioning right on their unit or hot tub. I do my best with problem solving over the phone with customers, I do my part in ordering parts for the service technicians and I try my best to stay on top of communication with my co-workers and customers. I am twenty-years old and I live in the heart of Tacoma with my fiance and my beautiful siamese kitty, Jessie. As a home-body, I spend most of my time with them when I am not at my second home, Aqua Rec. Both my fiance and I work at family owned companies and it has really, positivley changed our lifestyle when it comes to the work life. I feel very fortunate to be in the position that I am, and I am excited to see where it takes me.
Grady L. Jones, in the hearth, patio and BBQ business for 26 years and with Aqua Rec's for almost 3 years as a salesman, primarily at the Fircrest location. I came to the hearth, patio and bbq industry with over 30 years in the mechanical repair and construction trades. I am happy to be here working with a great company and a great bunch of people!
I have been with Aqua Rec since 2013 as the Financial Controller and doing the same kind of work for the past 30 years. For the last couple years, I have become more involved in the new pool construction side of the business as well. I enjoy having my hands I all aspects of the business. My happy place is in the middle of a lavender field in Sequim or a winery in Lake Chelan or doing the Chicken Dance in Leavenworth at Oktoberfest. I have an Amazon store that sells Velvet Pumpkins with Real Pumpkin Stems, so I spend time collecting the stems in the fields and farms and well as hand making the pumpkins. I also tend to collect pinecones wherever I go, I haven't figured out what I am going to do with them yet, but I have a ton of them! I am still on the hunt for the large Ponderosa Pinecones, so give me a shout if you come across them.

My name is Jessica Price. I started at Aqua Rec in the Summer of 2015 in our Retail Department. I have moved around in the company a few times, with years of experience in our Retail, Service and Purchasing/Receiving Departments. I am a single mom to a sweet little boy that is Special Needs so when I am not working, I am usually hanging out with him, taking him to appointments and helping him gain his independence in his own ways while finding the joy in life despite his differences. My goal is to show him he can do anything he sets his mind to if he just applies himself. A few years after I had my son, during COVID I took a couple years off to be home with my son. I came back to Aqua Rec in the Fall of 2023 where I am currently the Purchasing/Receiving person, which means I purchase and receive stock along with orders for customers. I also ship out orders that require it. I am very grateful to work for a company that has supported me not only at work but during my home life as well. Aqua Rec is big on family, and we strive to make every customer feel like they are a part of our ever-growing family.

My name is Kaylei Kovacs. I have been with the company since 08/19/2023. Just over ten years! I have worked off and on doing multiple positions due to being in nursing school. This job has allowed me to persue my dream, while being flexible with my work and kids' schedules. I have done a mixture of retail, purchacing/receiving and warranty. Currently, I am working part-time doing warranty and helping with retail when needed. This means, processing claims after we go out and do repairs, answering phones, checking the status of parts, and doing water tests. I am lucky to work here and have built a lot of relationships in being here. I enjoy the people I work with as well as helping customers. It is a family owned business in which I have been able to work with my siblings, father, and other family members. Which is a bonus. My name is Kelsei Kovacs and I am the store manager at Aqua Rec's Fircrest location. I was born and raised in Washington in the Tacoma area. In 2021 I moved to Arizona to work at another fireplace store, and came back in mid 2023. I am huge on family, who for the most part, all live in Washington. They had a major impact on my move back. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time supporting the younger generation in my family and their sports/academics. I started with Aqua Rec's in 2013 on the retail side, working Saturday's through out the rest of my high school years. After graduation, I started full time with retail through 2019 and started training in sales. I started my sales career managing my Gig Harbor location. Since I've been back from Arizona, I floated for a few months to get back in the groove and received the manager position at Fircrest late 2023. I strive to achieve memorable customer service, and treating anyone who walks through our doors just like I would my family. I'm hoping to continue making a positive difference with Aqua Rec's and bringing positive energy to customers and employees.
My name is Lindsey Jones, I am a Service Advisor in Aqua Rec's Service Department, Tacoma location and I schedule spa and stove repairs. I have been working here since April 2023.
