ASRA (The Association of Social Research and Action) came into existence in the Year 1996 by a small group of professionals having a common vision and sensitivity towards the needs and problems of the deprived and underprivileged section of the society.Though the seed of foundation of ASRA was sown in the year 1996, it got registered under the Society Registration Act 21, 1860 in the year 2000 and under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 in the year 2006. ASRA has also received certificate of accreditation for good governance of voluntary organizations by Credibility Alliance, Mumbai. Since then ASRA has steadily. At ASRA we take the advantage of our more than a decade of Knowledge and Experience in bringing social awareness to the deprived and underprivileged class of the society. We don't impose solutions, but work with organisations over many years to strengthen their own efforts to tackle these social issues.
