AVHS

Antelope Valley High School (AVHS) first opened its doors in 1912 near its present site on Division Street in Lancaster, California, making it the oldest school in the district. Due to the large geographic area covered by AVHS, students in the early years were bused in at the beginning of the school week, stayed in dormitories, and returned to their families on Friday.
