Balavidyalaya The Institute of Teacher Training offers a one year training - Diploma in Teaching Young Hearing Impaired (DTYHI). The course trains teachers to help infants and young children deaf or hard of hearing acquire speech and language skills and join the mainstream by the time they are five years old... Established in 1969, BALAVIDYALAYA the School for young Deaf children is an Early Intervention Center for young Deaf Children. Admission is open throughout the year for deaf children below the age of 3 years regardless of race, religion and gender. There is no lower age for admission.
