BAYSIDE ACADEMY - Key Persons
Coach Beebe joined the Bayside coaching staff in 2017 as the varsity girls golf head coach and the middle school girls basketball head coach. Under her leadership, the Lady Admirals have advanced golf play in state competition and have finished runner-up in 1-3A Girls Golf State back-to-back in 2018 and 2019, missing the 2020 season due to COVID.
In 2021, the state championship tournament was cut short due to inclement weather, and the team finished state tied for the Championship that resulted in a committee vote tie-breaker for another state runner-up trophy. Coach Beebe was selected as the first Alabama All Stars Girls South Golf Coach in 2019. In 2020-2021, she was selected as Coach of the Year for Girls Golf and was recognized as the Alabama Girls Golf State Championship Coach. She is a Bayside Alumni, Class of 2012. Coach Beebe is a two-time AHSAA state golf individual champion in 2008 and 2011. Coach Beebe played collegiate golf at the University of South Alabama from 2012-2016.
Coach Beebe has her bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management with a sport coaching certificate. She is married to Bobby Skadow of Rockford, Illinois, and they reside in the Fairhope area with their daughter, Lilly.
Coach "Beebe" Skadow is a Bayside graduate (class of 2012) and played basketball for the Lady Admirals basketball team from 2009-2012. She is also the varsity girls golf coach.

Coach Edward Terry is the head coach of junior varsity program at Bayside Academy. Over the past 12 years, he has coached over 25 teams and over 200 players in 450 games and 40 tournaments. His focus in coaching is player development, fundamentals, and discipline. Many of the student-athletes he coached are playing on local high school teams, playing at the collegiate level, or are committed to play at the collegiate level.
Coach Terry also founded The Baseball Academy here in Daphne. The Baseball Academy gives children from the local area a place to train with instructors who played baseball at the collegiate level. Many of his instructors coach on local high school team staffs.
Coach Mark Lasseter became the head boys and girls golf coach in 2013. He turned over the coaching duties for our girls team to Coach Caroline Beebe Skadow '12 in 2017. Coach Lasseter's boys teams won the AHSAA State Championship in 2013, 2014, and 2022 and were Runners-up in 2015, 2021, and 2023. Coach Lasseter has helped many young people develop a passion for golf while also developing them to be better people, representing Bayside Academy, their team, and their family in a manner of class and dignity.
Coach Lasseter is also an assistant coach of the varsity football team and serves as the Associate Athletic Director at Bayside.
Mark has been teaching and coaching for more than 40 years. He is married to Mischelle Waldrop Lasseter and has four adult children (Haley, Brooks, Landon '14, and Bryant).
The Bayside Academy varsity baseball program practices and competes at the Bayside Academy Sports Complex on Highway 64. The varsity team competes at the 4A level in the AHSAA. Bayside has won multiple Area championships and finished deep in the playoffs, including as State Runner-Up in 2021.
Coach Matt Limbaugh has been coaching at Bayside Academy for five years (three as the head coach). Since he took over the program in 2021, there have been 12 athletes sign to play baseball at the collegiate level. Prior to coming to Bayside, Coach Limbaugh spent eight seasons as the varsity baseball head coach at Scott County Central High School in Missouri. Throughout his tenure at Scott County Central, Coach Limbaugh broke the school record for wins in a season and left as the program's all-time winningest coach. He also had the privilege of helping multiple student-athletes receive athletic scholarships to play at the collegiate level. Coach Limbaugh attended Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee, on a baseball scholarship. He received his degree in physical education and currently serves as the head of the PE department at Bayside.
Coach Dane Lumsden has led the Lady Admirals since 2020. He brings a wealth of international experience from South Africa, Thailand, and the United States.
Coach Dane holds a US Soccer D license and a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 3 certification.
He prepares his team to experience individual and team grown, technical excellence, and a passion for the game. His commitment to the program ensures his athletes reach their full potential on and off the field.

Jamie Ferguson has been the head boys soccer coach at Bayside since 2005. The program has had 10 consecutive trips to the AHSAA State Final Four, winning the last five state championships. He was named Area Coach of the Year in 2012, 2014-2019, and 2021-2023; AL.com's Coach of the Year in 2016; and AHSAA's Coach of the Year in 2016, 2019, and 2021-2024.

Coach Miller was named the varsity girls head coach in 2023. He has been coaching basketball at Bayside since 2016 and served as the head JV boys basketball coach for three years. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Sports Science in Sports Strength and Strength & Conditioning.
