Alexandre joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2020 after completing his internship to become a lawyer with our team.
His young practice his divided between litigation and corporate law, offering a complete service to the client of the firm.
Annie joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2008 and helped create the Labour and Employment Law sector, where she offered her expertise in the area to the clients. Since then, new professionals have joined the sector and Annie made her return in 2019 to once again contribute to its development.
She is recognized for her pragmatic approach in workplace dispute prevention and resolution.
Annie represents an employer clientele and acts as their strategic advisor for the planning and management of their labour relations. She utilizes her expertise and negotiation skills to assist her clients in their litigious matters. Annie also acts as a solicitor, which leads her to regularly appear before the civil and administrative courts, including the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Administrative Labor Tribunal and grievance adjudicators.

Antoine is a Senior Partner at Bernard & Brassard, where he has been practicing since 2007. He specializes in business transfers, corporate and tax reorganization, trust law, and estate planning. He also has a keen interest and strong skills in tax law and finance.

François joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2016. He has been working in family dispute since 2002 and has been called to appear before the Superior Court and the Quebec Court of Appeal. After nearly 10 years in a boutique law firm that operated exclusively in family law, he then worked several years for a South Shore multidisciplinary firm. He is one of Bernard & Brassard's senior partners and is in charge of the family law department.
François Poirier rigorously guides his clients to achieve the delicate balance between reason, emotions and laws that is required in any conflict situation encountered in family matters.
Beyond the support he provides to his clients for legal proceedings regarding child custody, support payments or sharing of assets, François also advises many clients in their alternative dispute resolutions (settlement conference, mediation). Furthermore, after having been a part of the board of directors of the Barreau de Longueuil for years and taking part in various committees, Me Poirier is now a governor of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec.
Nine years after founding his firm in Longueuil, François joined Bernard & Brassard in 1999 and is now one of the senior partners. His practice is exclusively oriented in Business Law. He has extensive knowledge in mergers and acquisitions, in business financing and in drafting commercial contracts, particularly international ones.
Very involved in the community, François is constantly trying to make things happen.
Since the beginning of his career, he has served on numerous boards of directors for different organizations. He is a regular speaker at various events.
Having developed her practice since 2015 on the South Shore of Montreal with her own law firm before joining other firms, Genevieve joined Bernard & Brassard in 2022. Bilingual, she focuses her practice mainly on business law and intellectual property-trademarks and copyrights-thus serving a varied clientele.

Geneviève joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in October 2010 as the Executive director. With a Bachelor of Business Administration at HEC Montreal and extensive experience as manager of family-owned businesses, she is responsible for the optimization of internal procedures at the firm.
Jonathan-Paul joined Bernard & Brassard in 2016. He started off his career in the legal department of a large telecommunication equipment company located in Montreal. He then established his own law firm on Montreal's South Shore where he practiced for more than three years.

After working for sixteen years in private practice, including seven years as a partner of two important offices in downtown Montreal, Louis-Denis joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2000. A partner of the firm since 2002, he currently acts as managing partner.
Louis-Denis is a man of action who focuses on his greatest strength: conflict resolution.
Louis-Denis primarily works in commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, and intellectual property. He pleads before arbitration courts and civil courts. He also provides services in prevention and dispute resolution as an arbitrator and mediator for any commercial business.
Marie-Christine joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2017 after working for a South Shore firm for two years. Her practice focuses on business law, mainly in corporate reorganization and transactional law. In the completion of her mandates, Me Lavallée draws up various commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements.
Me Marie-Pier Lavoie joined the firm in 2023 becoming a member of the civil and commercial litigation team. Since then, she has had the opportunity to handle the management of several captivating legal cases, particularly in the area of shareholder conflicts.
Combining rigor, transparency and performance, Me Lavoie favors a personalized approach to advise her clients in an informed manner.

Nicolas joined our firm in 2020 after having started his practice in a boutique law firm in Montreal. He actively participated in a wide variety of files in commercial, civil and employment law matters and pleaded before several judicial and administrative tribunals. He is a delegate partner since 2022.

Mtre Bonhomme practices within our litigation team and advises our clients on contractual and dispute resolution matters with a pragmatic and personal approach. As a graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration program from HEC Montreal with a specialization in finance, Nicolas is particularly interested in the commercial affairs of our clients, especially in shareholder disputes. Furthermore, he is a member of the Next Generation Committee under the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation, which organizes charitable events.
Pascal joined our team in 2017 after working in another multidisciplinary firm on the South Shore.

Having started his career as a law clerk at the Court of Appeal of Quebec, Pascal has gained in-depth knowledge of the principles of law since he actively participated in the drafting of important judicial decisions that shaped Quebec law.
In 2004, after practicing for three years in a law firm in Montreal, Pierre-Marc joined the Bernard & Brassard firm. Today, he is a senior partner and is responsible for the Litigation group and conflict resolution.

Ruth joined the Bernard & Brassard firm in 2002 after working as an Attorney-researcher for three years with the judges of the Superior Court of Quebec. She takes care of the required research related to complex legal issues in civil and commercial law, including bankruptcy and insolvency, security, intellectual property, as well as in the areas of banking, real estate and labour.
A passionate and fascinating woman, Ruth is constantly on the lookout for the newest information in the legal field.
Ruth is often involved in the preparation of written submissions and the drafting of legal proceedings in connection with civil and commercial disputes. As the knowledge manager of the firm, she makes sure to inform the office attorneys about the recent legislative and case law developments in their respective fields of expertise. She also provides services in prevention ans dispute resolution as an arbitrator and mediator for any commercial business.
Me Sarah-Pascale Dafoe joined the firm in 2020. A thorough and dedicated lawyer, she works in the civil litigation sector and has since had the opportunity to take on a wide variety of stimulating cases, including in matters of latent defects, shareholder disputes and estate litigation.
Stéphane joined the Bernard & Brassard firm after having worked for a dozen years in a private practice in Longueuil, including four years in his own practice.

Véronique Milot joined the Bernard & Brassard team in 2019 after having started her practice in a Montreal boutique law firm, where she focused mainly on family law.
