Abby Burkhart is our Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been a provider at the Battle Mountain Clinic for the last four years and during that time she has become an integral part of our health care team.
Abby is one of the most compassionate and intimately connected providers to ever brace our doors and she has built meaningful relationships with her patients that extends far beyond the exam room. Abby's focus is on the primary and specialty comprehensive care of patients of all ages, genders and health conditions to provide individualized healthcare plans for chronic conditions and acute injuries.
Her ability to connect and understand her patient needs within the context of the family and community allow her to promote preventative care and general wellness to help sustain healthy families in our county. She works with her patients to prevent and manage diseases and health conditions and provide health education when necessary and she is quick to diagnose and treat illnesses for her patients over the long term.
Abby is a Battle Mountain native and has a profound understanding of the overall health of the community she serves and this insight has proven to be invaluable to our team. Her services and her presence are precious to our patients and our residents. We are blessed beyond compare to have Abby as one of our clinic providers.
