Fred and his wife, Jane, live in Birmingham, AL and have been supporters of Bringing Good News for over 15 years. Fred currently serves as Chairman of Bringing Good News, USA. Previously Fred has led mission teams to Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Angola, South Africa, Central Asia, Russia and China. Fred and Jane have five children and fourteen grand-children.

Helen Thomson live in Southampton, England. They have four children and four grandchildren. Ian has served as the President of Bringing Good News since its beginning in 2002.
Helen is married to Ian and they have four children - Sarah, David, Rachel and Susannah - as well as five grandchildren. Helen has a passion for helping children, especially those living in desperate poverty. In the past, she has traveled to Africa to help AIDS orphans. She enjoys gardening and photography and has a particular concern for the welfare of small children.

Ian Thomson serves as President and oversees Bringing Good News along with the help of a board of trustees in the United Kingdom as well as a board of directors in the United States. Both groups work together to ensure there is accountability in every aspect of BGN's ministry, from its mission focus to its financial stewardship.

John is a retired pastor, having served in Zambia in 3 different churches and also in Southampton for nearly 15 years. He is blessed with a wife, 4 children and 8 grandchildren. John loves cycling, painting, and running an allotment. He belongs to a very interesting church which is focused on reaching Asians from other religious backgrounds.
Kevin and his wife Traci live in Franklin, TN with their three children. Kevin serves as pastor at Riverside Fellowship and Traci is an elementary educator. Kevin has traveled with Ian to both Ukraine and Nepal. He has also been to China, Honduras, and several locations around the United States.

Maggie is a registered nurse, midwife and health visitor. She has a passion for families, and for children to have the opportunity to grow up in a positive environment. Maggie first traveled to Africa in 2004 with BGN as part of a team to provide practical support to poor communities in Zambia; this led to a deeper desire to help relieve poverty and promote self-sufficiency. Maggie is married to Mark and has 3 adult children.
Richard Rowe is married to Jenny Smith Rowe, they have two sons, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Richard is a local carpenter. He has been a member of the Church at Brookhills since 1997. Met Ian on a mission trip to Ukraine in 1999. Richard's hobby is photography
Wayne Kendrick and his wife, Donna, are parents to two adult children and five grandchildren. They have been members of The Church Brook Hills since 1999 where he current serves as an elder. Wayne is retired, having formerly worked as the Head Athletic Trainer at Samford University, but does continue to work part-time with UAB Sports Medicine at Children's Hospital. Wayne and Donna also serve as Disaster Relief Chaplains.
