Amaney Jamal

Amaney Jamal is Dean of the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) and the Edwards S. Sanford Professor of Politics. She joined the Princeton faculty in 2003. Jamal's research and teaching focuses on the Middle East and North Africa, political development and democratization, inequality and economic segregation, Muslim immigration in the United States and Europe, and issues related to gender, race, religion and class. She previously served in numerous leadership roles on campus, including as chair of the Department of Politics Ad-Hoc Committee on Race and Diversity and as a member of the Dean of the Faculty Committee on Diversity. Jamal also directs the Workshop on Arab Political Development and the Bobst-American University of Beirut Collaborative Initiative. Among her many awards and fellowships, Jamal was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2020, received the distinguished Kuwait Prize for the field of economics and social science in 2019, and was named a Carnegie Scholar in 2005. Outside of Princeton, she is the principal investigator of the Arab Barometer, a nonpartisan research network that measures public opinion through polling in North Africa and Middle East. Jamal is an award-winning author and has published numerous journal articles and scholarly papers. Her books include "Of Empires and Citizens: Pro-American Democracy or No Democracy at All" and "Barriers to Democracy: The Other Side of Social Capital in Palestine and the Arab World." Before coming to Princeton, Jamal was an assistant professor of political science at Columbia University. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan.

Andrea Goldsmith

Andrea Goldsmith is dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering. She joined Princeton in those roles on Sept. 1, 2020. Goldsmith is a leader and entrepreneur in wireless systems, widely recognized for fundamental contributions to the fields of information theory and communications. She co-founded and served as chief technical officer for two companies, for Quantenna Communications and Plume WiFi. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Goldsmith, who came to Princeton from Stanford University, served in numerous leadership roles at Stanford and within the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the largest professional society in the world, including spearheading multiple initiatives to increase diversity among faculty members and in STEM fields and the technology industry. Goldsmith received her bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

Andrew K. Golden

Andrew K. Golden has served as president of the Princeton University Investment Company ("Princo") since January 1995. Golden joined Princo from Duke Management Company, where he was an investment director. Prior to that, he was a senior associate in the Investments Office at Yale University. Golden holds a B.A. in philosophy from Duke University and an M.P.P.M. from the Yale School of Management. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He served as a founding member of the Investors' Committee of the President's Working Group on Financial Markets and was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the NAB Asset Corporation, a publicly-traded commercial loan workout specialist. He currently serves on fund advisory boards for several hedge fund, private equity and venture capital managers, including Bain, Hillhouse, Northern Light, General Catalyst, and Greylock. In addition to his work at Princo, Golden is a Trustee of the Princeton Area Community Foundation, Rita Allen Foundation and Rutgers Preparatory School.

Anne Jarvis

Anne Jarvis was appointed university librarian at Princeton University in October 2016. Princeton University Library (PUL) is one of the world's foremost research libraries, consisting of the Harvey S. Firestone Library and nine branch libraries. Jarvis came from the University of Cambridge, England, where she worked as deputy librarian for nine years and then as university librarian for a further seven years. She was the first female university librarian in Cambridge's 800-year history. A native of Ireland, Jarvis holds a bachelor's degree in history from Trinity College, Dublin, a postgraduate diploma in Library and Information Studies from University College Dublin, a master's degree in Communication and Cultural Studies from Dublin City University and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge. Whilst working in Cambridge she was a fellow of Wolfson College, where she served as vice president from 2006 to 2009.

Christopher Ludwig Eisgruber - President

Christopher Ludwig Eisgruber has served as Princeton University's 20th president since July 2013. He served previously as Princeton's provost for nine years, beginning in 2004, after joining the Princeton faculty in 2001. As president, Eisgruber has led efforts to increase the representation of low-income and first-generation students at Princeton and other colleges and universities. Princeton's socioeconomic diversity initiatives have attracted national attention from The New York Times, The Washington Post, 60 Minutes and other news outlets. Kevin J. Heaney

Kevin J. Heaney was appointed Princeton University's first vice president for advancement in November 2016. W. She began her career in college administration while still a graduate student at Columbia University working with Playwrights Horizon Theatre to coordinate curricular and co-curricular programs for their NYU students.
