Cardinal Hayes Home for Children is a not-for-profit agency pro viding residential care and treatment for individuals who are developmentally disabled. CHHC is sponsored by Franciscan Missionaries of Mary and is affiliated with Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of New York. Individuals of all races, creeds and socio-economic backgrounds are equally considered for admission. Our agency accepts ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals who are severely physically and intellectually disabled. Some have a diagnosis of autism, others have cerebral palsy, epilepsy or neurological impairment. Our nursing staff and direct care workers have considerable experience in the care of medically fragile individuals. There are one hundred nineteen individuals in our residential programs... we provide each individual in our care the opportunity to achieve his or her potential in an atmosphere of acceptance and love
