CELL BIOLOGY

We cater to ER's of varying severity levels: York Street is a Level 1 trauma and stroke center while Saint Raphael's, Milford Hospital and Shoreline Medical Centers are busy ERs but not Level 1. We also provide radiology services to the West Haven VA overnight... The ER section provides inpatient imaging coverage after 11pm. During the evening hours, we have a minimum of two US technologists scanning at York street and at least one at Milford and Shoreline which gives an estimate of the volume of cases available to learn from. Fellows can gain ultrasound scanning experience if they prefer...
