The Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory is part of the Center for Systems Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroimaging Center, and the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University. Research in our laboratory focuses on mapping the human brain using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Our primary goal is to study how the normal brain encodes, maintains, and retrieves visual, spatial, and verbal information. In addition to studies of normal short-term and long-term memory processes, we are currently using behavioral testing and fMRI to study symbolic processing and spatial navigation in humans. The lab has also used fMRI to study Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and normal aging... Graduate students in the Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory carry out their research through the Brain, Behavior, and Cognition program, Graduate Program in Neuroscience, and the Clinical Psychology program at Boston University. The Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory is located..
