Dr. Chad McKenzie D.

Dr. Chad McKenzie joined Commonwealth Vascular Institute January 2021. He is Board-Certified in osteopathic medicine and specializes in Vascular Surgery. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Ok. Dr. McKenzie holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Okla. He completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y. Dr. McKenzie also completed general surgery residencies at Lincoln Hospital Trauma Center and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. McKenzie completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery from the Cleveland Vascular Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. McKenzie is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, New York Society of Osteopathic Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and Cleveland Vascular Society. Additionally, he is a founding member and director of Physicians for Humanity.

Dr. Claude M. McBee

Dr. Matthew McBee is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Vascular Surgeon. He has been treating patients within Southampton Roads for 16 years. With his vascular expertise, McBee founded the Vascular Surgical Services at Obici Hospital. This continued commitment to the community enabled the Obici Hospital to build a state-of-the-art Endovascular Suite as well as an Operating Room with the latest Vascular Imaging C-Arm. Dr. McBee performed the first Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair at Obici. In 1996, Dr. McBee opened his own practice, Commonwealth Vascular Institute which currently has 2 locations to better serve our community.
