CONSTITUTION DENTAL - Key Persons
Dr. Ashish Nair has 10 years of work experience as a Restorative Dentist and Endodontist, including 3 years of specialty training, 4 years of work in Mumbai, India, and 3 and a half years of work experience in Kuwait. Once migrated to Canada in February 2020, Dr. Nair received his DMD at the McGill University. Dr. Nair true passions include public speaking, specifically educating Dental students. He also finds putting patients at ease while in his care the most rewarding part of his work.
Dr. Barbara Houle, a general dentist, has many years of experience serving the Ottawa community. She has been practicing and continues to practice at her Orléans located clinic for many years now. As a dentist, Dr. Houle loves seeing her patients leave their appointment with a healthier smile and a boost of confidence.
Dr. Houle has a keen interest in all aspects of Dentistry, especially the cosmetic side of Dentistry and Pediodontics. Dr. Houle has recently joined the Constitution Dental Family and is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Kirsty Large was born in the United Kingdom where she lived there until the age of five at which point her family moved to Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from McGill University in 2008, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency program at the Montreal Children's Hospital which she really enjoyed, as well as IV Sedation training at the Georgia Medical College. She moved to Ottawa in 2009, and has been practicing dentistry here ever since.
Dr Large is a certified provider of Invisalign. She is also a volunteer dentist for the Ottawa Mission Dental Program which aims to improve the dental health of Ottawa's homeless by offering accessible professional dental care. When Dr. Large is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Quintin and her children Jack and Chloe
Dr. Max Silver is an Ottawa native and graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry with honours. He then completed the prestigious General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital. This is where he gained experience with implants, bone grafts, and wisdom teeth removal.
He has continued to expand his knowledge through advanced education in sinus lifts, implant dentures, and teeth-in-a-day treatments.
Dr. Silver is certified in the latest technology, like 3D X-rays and digital scanners. He utilizes these to personally plan the placement of implants and removal of wisdom teeth. This ensures the best outcome and minimizes risk for his patients.
Dentistry can be stressful, especially complex procedures like implants and extractions. Dr. Silver's expertise and certification in IV sedation minimize patient anxiety throughout treatment. He prides himself on patient-centred care and works with each patient to tailor treatment plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Silver is a voice actor and has worked with the likes of Rogers, Disney, and People's Jewelry. He puts his impression and puppeteering talents to use with his youngest patients, who often need a little dose of Elmo or Mickey Mouse to alleviate their fears.
