Welcome! The Christchurch Tramping Club (CTC) is one of Christchurch's largest tramping clubs. We run a range of day and overnight trips most weekends as well as regular socials. Our trips range from easy (minimal experience required) to hard (high level of fitness and experience required). We also organise instruction courses and have a range of equipment for hire... The programme is entirely volunteer-led and has the goal of providing students with an enjoyable introduction to the outdoors. The programme is free of charge as we have a grant from the Rata Foundation. We also have specialised clothing (e.g. waterproof coats) and equipment (e.g. packs and sleeping bags) to loan to students at no cost... The Christchurch Tramping Club, or CTC for short, is one of Christchurch's largest and most active tramping clubs. We have around 300 members, and welcome everyone, whatever your background or ability.
