Dr. Dunfey retired from clinical practice in June 2022. As an experienced licensed clinical psychologist, she was highly regarded for her expertise in psychotherapy, critical incident debriefing, management consulting, and teaching. She earned a Master's and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Her 1993 dissertation research was the first scientific inquiry on stigma and the effects of a Presidential candidate's treatment in psychotherapy on voting preferences.
