Denise Wingerd

Job Titles:

Denise received her BA degree in Health Care Administration from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and went on to receive her Masters' degree in management from Notre Dame in Baltimore Maryland. She has worked in health care since 1992 in many different facets, including health insurance and multiple physician specialties. She has a coding certification in physician coding from AAPC, AHIMA and the Association of Registered Medical Professionals. Denise joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 2001 as the Billing Supervisor and went on to become the Practice Administrator in 2006.

Devra G. Brace

Dr. Devra Brace earned her Bachelor of Science in cognitive science and her Master of Arts in linguistics and cognitive science from the University of Delaware in 2015. She graduated with her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Towson University in May 2022 and she joined Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates in June 2022. Her audiology special interests include pediatrics and hearing aid fittings.

Dr. Aaron Wood

Dr. Wood is originally from Tucson, Arizona but earned his bachelor's degree from Wheaton College in Chicago. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland before moving to Baltimore and completing a general surgical internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then traveled across town for residency training in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Wood provides care to both adult and pediatric patients with general ear, nose and throat problems, with a special emphasis on surgical treatments for obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Alireza Nejad

Dr. Alireza Nejad is board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as internal medicine. He is a graduate from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology where he was trained with nationally and internationally known pediatric and adult allergists and immunologists. During his Ph.D. training at Michigan State University and later as an Assistant professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine he extensively published his research in the field of genetics and epidemiology of asthma and allergy. Dr. Nejad's clinical interests and expertise include evaluation and treatment of allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, hives and mast cell disorders, angioedema, contact dermatitis, eczema, anaphylaxis, asthma, food allergy/intolerance, venom allergy, drug allergy and immunodeficiencies. Before joining Advanced ENT care, Dr Nejad was practicing in Bel Air and southern PA. He lives with his wife, 2 children and their dog in northern Baltimore County and enjoys hiking, cooking, reading and meditation.

Dr. Brian Kaplan

Dr. Kaplan was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Cornell University before enrolling at the University of Virginia for both medical school and residency training, joining Ear, Nose & Throat Associates in 2003. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology, and Director of the Cochlear Implant Program, at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Past research interests have included cartilage and inner ear hair cell regeneration. Clinical studies have involved various ototopical agents, along with hybrid and traditional cochlear implantation. His current practice focuses on medical and surgical treatment of the ear, hearing loss, and implantable hearing technology. Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified in Otolaryngology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has been recognized numerous times as a "Top Doc" by Baltimore Magazine. Dr. Kaplan is a proud member of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance.

Dr. Dario Kunar

Dr. Kunar earned his bachelor's degree at Columbia University, then went on to complete both medical school and residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Medicine. His special interests include the management of allergies and sinusitis, speech and swallowing disorders, thyroid and salivary gland surgery, pediatric ear and sinus disease, head and neck tumor treatment, and cochlear implantation.

Dr. Douglas Reh

Dr. Reh grew up in Victor, NY and graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a B.S. in Finance & Operations. He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Reh received fellowship training in advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University. Dr. Douglas Reh's practice covers the expanse of sinonasal disorders including sinusitis, nasal polyps, and sinonasal tumors as well as the endoscopic resection of anterior and middle fossa skull base tumors. Dr. Reh's clinical interests concentrate on endonasal, endoscopic approaches to skull base tumors and the repair of cerebrospinal fluid leaks. His research focuses on outcomes of endoscopic skull base surgery and intracranial pressure monitoring in patients with spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leaks.

Dr. Samuel Hahn

Dr. Hahn is a Baltimore native who was born and raised in Towson, Maryland. He attended Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate studies. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He continued his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. After residency, he was recruited to lead the department's facial trauma service for a year prior to completing Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He is board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Larry Taylor

Dr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in May 2015. He earned his Doctorate of Audiology degree from Towson University in May 2019. He completed his fourth-year externship at Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates at GBMC and at the Presbyterian Board of Governors Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence at GBMC. He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. His areas of adult and pediatric clinical interest include general diagnostics, traditional hearing aids, and electrophysiologic hearing assessment. He joined Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates in June 2019.

Lisa A. Peters

Dr. Peters earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Science Disorders from Pennsylvania State University in May 2003. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Towson University in May 2007. Dr. Peters completed her fourth year externship at Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates at GBMC. She is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Her areas of interest include digital hearing aids as well as bone anchored hearing aids. She joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in June 2006.

Marc G. Dubin

Dr. Dubin is a Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon/Doctor) who has additional advanced training in the medical and surgical management of diseases of the nose and sinuses (sinusitis). Dr. Dubin is originally from New Jersey and went to college at the University of Pennsylvania. After college, he remained in Philadelphia and at PENN where he attended the School of Medicine. Dr. Dubin is the Co-Director of the Minimally Invasive Pituitary and Skull Base Center at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and was the Medical Director of the Sherwood Surgical Center at GBMC until January 2014.

Melina A. Blasi

Dr. Melina Blasi earned her Bachelor of Science degree with the double major of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology/Deaf Studies from Towson University in May 2008. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Towson University in May 2012. She completed her fourth year externship at Ear, Nose and Throat Associates at GBMC. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Her areas of interests include general diagnostics, digital hearing aids, and vestibular testing. She joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in July 2011.

Sharon L. Priebe

Dr. Priebe earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Speech-Pathology and Audiology/ Psychology from Towson University in 2003, her Master of Science degree from Howard University in 2005, and her Doctorate in Audiology from University of Florida in 2008. She has been an audiologist in and around the Baltimore area for over 12 years. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Her special interests include general diagnostics, hearing loss prevention, and hearing instrument services.
