EASTSIDE ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER - Key Persons
Dr. Baker opened Eastside Animal Medical Center in 2002. Originally from Tucker, Georgia, she obtained her degree in Biology from Presbyterian College and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
She lives in Grayson with her two children, Ella and Bradley, and numerous four-legged friends. Labrador Retrievers Wrecks and Ewe who is kept in line at home by pint-sized Pita the Dachshund and the maltese Biddy-Bit. Keeping the mice at bay is feline friend Gus. All of Dr. Baker's animals have been recruited for various aid at the hospital over the years, either as blood donors or training aids.
In her spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys coaching soccer, swimming, trail running, and mountain biking.
Dr. Bacon has been an associate veterinarian on staff since 2004. Originally from Madison, GA, she attended Berry College and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science before completing her degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia.
Dr. Bacon lives in Lawrenceville with her husband and their two children along with Daisy, a pitbull/lab mix, Persia, a very particular Pug and their feline friend Callisto. In her free time, Dr. Bacon enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading, and also holds a brown belt in karate. Dr. Bacon enjoys being a part of Eastside for the teamwork!
