Abby J. St. Hilaire

Abby joined ELM in 2014 and works with both the business and litigation practice groups. Her work focuses on assisting clients in a broad range of transactional and business matters as well as business and commercial litigation. Abby serves as a coach to the University of Washington School of Law VIS International Commercial Arbitration team. She also coordinates her local church's international outreach.

Alexis J. Laginess

Lexi joined ELM after completing her J.D. at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Her work focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and general business transactions.

Daniel J. Ichinaga

Daniel was a member of the Seattle Ethics and Elections Commission and served as its Vice-Chair in 1996 and its Chair in 1997 and 1998. He also serves on the board of directors of Seattle Kendo Kai, the oldest kendo dojo in the Pacific Northwest. He holds the rank of yondan (4th degree black belt) in kendo. His blank verse play, Weeds, played to sold-out audiences at the Seattle Fringe Festival (2000) and he has appeared in a number of local plays. As a young attorney, Daniel had the honor and privilege of serving on the legal team for Gordon Hirabayashi in the case and appeal that overturned Gordon's infamous convictions for opposing the wartime curfew and internment imposed on Japanese-Americans located on the West Coast. During his free time, Daniel enjoys being with his wonderful wife, Allison (and serving as her prep chef), reading the great literature he should have read earlier in life, practicing kendo, and honing his communication skills through Toastmasters.

Jacob J. Farrell

Jacob joined ELM after completing his J.D. at Ohio State University School of Law. His work focuses on real estate, civil litigation, and criminal defense. He is energized by new challenges and a deep commitment to securing excellent outcomes for his clients.

Kyle D. Netterfield

Kyle has been married to his dearest friend Sandy since 1992. Together they have four sons. They love to ski, ride motocross in the mountains, hike, dance, and build things together. For years, Kyle enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and youth soccer. Now he just gets to umpire from time to time, but hopes grandkids may someday give him the chance to coach again. He has been honored to serve with Seattle's Union Gospel Mission legal aid clinic and the boards of Northshore Community Church and Northshore Little League.

Nathaniel L. Taylor - Chief Legal Officer

Nat serves as outside general counsel to a number of nonprofits and closely-held businesses. He has over twenty years' of broad experience in high-stakes litigation and complex transactions, from representing clients in constitutional litigation, to day-to-day employment counseling, to helping small business owners in successful and highly profitable exits. He has particular expertise in the unique legal issues of religious entities, including churches, private schools, and para-church ministries. His broad experience helps him anticipate and avoid problems before they become expensive headaches for the client, but will also vigorously defend the interests of his clients in litigation. He is regularly retained by the insurance companies of institutional clients to continue to defend the clients' interests in insured matters.

Peter B. Dolan

Peter joined ELM in 2016 and works in the general litigation, labor and employment, condemnation, real estate, trust and estate litigation, and probate practice areas. Peter's work focuses on assisting clients by thoughtfully guiding them through each step of their case, whether it be a will contest or a business dispute. As a pragmatic and results-oriented attorney, Peter has helped many clients through mediations and, when necessary, litigation in court as he seeks to advocate for his clients and find the best outcome for any particular case.
