Faouzi Bayoud - Founder, President

An entrepreneur who is service-driven, Faouzi learned about the challenges-and solutions in the construction industry from his father who was involved in the development and building of the first power plant and hotel in the UAE. Moreover, focus and precision became his watchwords while attending boarding school in England and earning a Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing and Finance from the University of North Texas. After graduation, he founded Transcontinental Marketing Inc., the sole distributor of Smith Corona projects in the Middle East. Faouzi worked as Special Projects Manager for Mossimo's and later TGI Friday's. For about three years he was in management with Oakwood Homes. Construction-especially with the innovations offered by modular units, became his passion. In 2001, he founded Nash Construction (named for his daughter), and in the midst of the post 9-11 turmoil, Faouzi expanded from 8 to 49 employees in less than two years. At that time, he specialized in constructing modular military buildings. In 2012, he organized Ellis Modular (named for his son) to focus on the production of job-site modular housing in rural areas. Since the launch of this company, Faouzi has continued to move forward-with new innovative designs and products at affordable prices.

Michael McCoy - COO

After operating his own business for about 15 years, Michael was in sales and then General Manager for Housemart, provider of high-end manufactured housing. He began his tenure with Ellis in 2003. Working with Bayoud's business interests, he has been involved with project management, transportation; crew, equipment and materials; scheduling, site inspections and final walk throughs. His experience ranges from residential modular homes to 50-unit commercial installations on military bases. Michael attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA. He holds a 30-hour OSHA card.

Patti Lindsey

Job Titles:
  • Business Manager
  • Office Manager for Nash Construction
Patti joined the team in 2012 as office manager for Nash Construction, LLC (a sister company to Ellis Modulars). She now serves as the business manager for the Bayoud Group (both Ellis Modulars and Nash Construction) and handles all financial and business-related matters. Patti's background includes accounting and financial management for several companies. Previously, she was a successful communications manager for five years for an international insurance broker where she worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies developing communications strategies specifically for employees and company benefits programs. She is a graduate of International Business School with a double major in business and accounting.

Richard Moore - CMO

Richard joined the Ellis team in early 2012 and brings over 25 years of marketing and advertising experience from an industry-varied background. Former creative consultant at Daisytek International and Creative Director of White Rock Networks, DataStarUSA and Shoestring Advertising, he is a seasoned veteran of the advertising and marketing industry. He launched The Design Syndicate in 1998 as a solo venture that he continues to maintain. Over the last decade, Richard has concentrated to a great degree on the technology sector. He studied at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York before coming to the North Texas area. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of North Texas. His professional associations include the Dallas Society of Visual Communications and Dallas Ad League.

Valarie Knox

Valarie joined the Ellis Modular team in 2017. She came on board to assist with general office duties and business development, and ended up taking over a lead sales position within Ellis Modular. Valarie is currently a part-time student at Collin County Community College, where she plans to acquire her Business degree and then transfer to University of North Texas for continued study in Business Management. Valarie has been in sales and customer service for over six years and is passionate about helping people and providing first rate customer service. She has taken on many lead positions including her current position as a sales director.
