Family Transitions, based in Melbourne, Australia, is dedicated to the needs of children and parents experiencing family separation, and to the support of professionals working with them. The clinic was founded in 2002 by Jeff Katz, family law mediator and former lawyer, and Dr. Jennifer McIntosh, child clinical psychologist. Jennifer is no longer involved with Family Transitions... Our clinic provides services to families and the professionals who support them, specialising in family separation/divorce, and including family law family dispute resolution... Mediation is a popular means for separating couples to resolve their differences ans plan the transition of their family post-separation without recourse to adversarial legal process. Our services include helping with the creation of child centred, developmentally appropriate parenting arrangements, financial arrangements, and any other difficult discussions flowing from separation.
