FOX HILL VINEYARD

We are Mike and Carole Farrell, and in 1979 we purchased 40 beautiful acres of land here in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, looking to become grape growers and lead a life more deeply connected to the land. Our decision coincided nicely with the discovery high quality of California wines in 1976 at "The Judgement of Paris" which showed California wines could compete - and win - in blind tastings with French wines. Between 1979 and 1988, we developed the vineyard and built our home while Mike worked semi-retired at Hewlett Packard. In 1989, Mike retired from life in Silicon Valley, and we moved permanently to Fox Hill... Premium cabernet sauvignon winegrapes from Fox Hill Vineyard. Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California.
