Dr. Bortnick was the founding partner of Monarch Plastic Surgery, established in 1995. His principal practice concentrates on cosmetic and aesthetic surgery of the face and body. He has developed a reputation as a local and regional expert in body contouring and cosmetic nasal surgery and serves as the residency coordinator for cosmetic plastic surgery at The University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Alexandra Theriault graduated manga cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at The University of Texas at Houston and was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Alexandra Theriault became board certified in Dermatology in 2000. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at The University of Colorado and is currently on the teaching facility of Medical Education Resources. She also mentors medical students at the CU Health Science Center as a preceptor, and as a volunteer faculty teaching University of Colorado dermatology residents on Cosmetic Injection Techniques.
Drawn to Dermatology because it is a mentally challenging field, Dr. Alexandra Theriault finds it very rewarding to diagnose a tough case and implement promising treatment options. She especially enjoys treating autoimmune skin diseases, such as psoriasis cutaneous lupus and pemphigus. Apex Dermatology, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners, is involved in clinical research, enabling our patients to receive the most cutting edge treatments available.
Dr. Alexandra Theriault enjoys the personal relationships that have developed from treating families that she has been lucky enough to care for over her 16-year career. Her philosophy is to treat her patients with compassion and respect, explain the disease process, and involve her patients in the healing process.
Dr. Alexandra Theriault also finds reward in the cosmetic side of dermatology. "I believe that my background in art serves as a good foundation for performing cosmetic procedures as many of them are sculptural. We do not aim to change the patient's appearance; rather, we are looking to enhance it."
During her free time, Dr. Alexandra Theriault enjoys skiing, running, hiking, playing the guitar, and enjoying time with her husband and two children. In the community, she participates in free skin cancer screenings and is involved in philanthropy for children's programs for those at risk, programs that support the Arts in Colorado, and programs that aid the homeless population in Denver.

Dr. Andrew Rogers graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and minor in Chemistry at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship year in Washington, DC at MedStar Health-Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center and his dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Rogers chose dermatology because he enjoys treating the diverse range of conditions within the field. He sees patients for any dermatologic ailment, including rashes, skin cancers, infections, nail problems, and hair loss. "When you treat skin disease, the results are very tangible to patients and can have a huge impact on their life. It is very gratifying to help people in this way," says Dr. Rogers.
Dr. Rogers lives with his family in Montgomery County, Maryland. He loves playing the drums, live music, basketball, skiing and snowboarding, eating great food, fishing, hiking with his dog, and traveling.

Dr. Deepa Patel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville where she was accepted into the Guaranteed Entrance to Medical School (G.E.M.S) program. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine where she was inducted into the prestigious medical honors society, Alpha Omega Alpha. During medical school, Dr. Patel also completed a year-long clinical research fellowship with the department of Dermatology at The Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. She received her specialty training in dermatology at Johns Hopkins University where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

Dr. Kathryn "Celeste" Durham graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. As a medical student, Dr. Durham received a summer research grant from the National Institutes of Health. After medical school, she completed her internal medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and was a clinical research fellow under Dr. Adelaide Hebert at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, serving as chief resident her final year. Dr. Durham has a strong research background with experience in more than a dozen studies. She has published in a number of journals, including the prestigious Journal of American Academy of Dermatology for pediatric dermatology.
Dr. Durham enjoys working with patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and skin cancer. Dr. Durham is passionate and dedicated to helping her patients improve their quality of life with great skin care. She treats patients at our Fort Worth Hulen office.
A native of Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Durham she has lived all over the state of Texas. She is thrilled to reside in friendly Fort Worth near her husband's family where they and their daughter enjoy outdoor activities, movies, and caring for their rescue dogs.

Dr. Michael Haag has over 15 years of clinical experience. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri - Columbia before going on to complete a residency in dermatology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Haag began his career as a clinical dermatologist in 1994 in Overland Park, Kansas, and later went into private in Lenexa, Kansas. He joined U.S. Dermatology Partners in the summer of 2015.
Dr. Michael Haag is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the America Academy of Dermatology. In addition to his interest in skin cancer prevention and treatment, he has a special interest in the topical and systemic effects of drugs and products as they pertain to long-term health and the prevention of aging.

Dr. Roopal Bhatt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She has also attained fellowship with the American Academy of Dermatology. Associations to which Dr. Bhatt belongs include the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, and the Austin Dermatological Society.
Dr. Bhatt received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1996. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's in Biology with an emphasis on Neurobiology. From 1993 - 1997, she performed research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Children's Hospital in Boston. Her focus was Neurology/Neurobiology. She then attended State University of New York, Health Science Center at Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, for medical school. She received her medical degree in 2001, graduating summa cum laude as a Junior AOA member. From 2001 - 2002, she performed her internship at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. This facility was the primary medical center after 9/11.
Her residency in dermatology extended from 2002 - 2005 at SUNY in Downstate Brooklyn, New York. Upon completion of that training, Dr. Bhatt traveled to London to work as a clinical observer at the St. John's Institute of Dermatology. That same year, she received board certification from the American Board of Dermatology.
While working in private practice from 2005 - 2007 in New York City, Dr. Bhatt was also on staff at the North Shore University Hospital as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In 2007 after a move to Austin's Four Points area, she founded Four Points Dermatology with the intent to fill the need for comprehensive dermatologic care in her community. After the success of her northwest Austin office, she opened a second dermatology office at the Mueller Market District close to downtown Austin in 2014.
Aside from having her two Austin offices, Dr. Bhatt also works at the Austin VA, since 2007, where she helps treat Austin veterans and helps train dermatology residents. She also works at the Little River Healthcare Clinic, a rural health care clinic, in Rockdale, Texas, since 2010.
Dr. Bhatt's experience from her years of academia and private practice enables her to meet the varying needs of her diverse clientele, including children and adults of all ages and ethnicities. Happily married and a mother of two young children, Dr. Bhatt gains a great deal of joy from her family time and from traveling, running, and reading (the Harry Potter series is among her favorites).

Dr. Gail Goldstein was born in California and grew up in Vienna, Virginia. She matriculated at The University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar. She stayed at UVA where she obtained a master's degree in Medical Ethics. She then attended medical school at New York University, where she graduated with honors in molecular and cellular biology. Dr. Gail Goldstein completed her medical training in dermatology at the University of Maryland and then joined the Annapolis Dermatology Center. Dr. Gail Goldstein practices both general and cosmetic dermatology and has lectured on subjects such as dermatological diseases of pregnancy, skin cancer prevention, the ethics of cosmetic surgery and medical volunteerism.
Dr. Gail Goldstein has three wonderful daughters, Lena, Mimi, and Julia. Her husband Andrew is a gynecologist. Dr. Gail Goldstein recently returned from a year of medical volunteering in South America and Southeast Asia with her family. Dr. Goldstein is the recipient of What's Up Annapolis Top Doctor and Chesapeake Family's Favorite Docs for Dermatology.

Dr. Glenn Goldstein, a board-certified dermatologist and diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, is the director of U.S. Dermatology Partners in Leawood, Kansas. Dr. Goldstein has been in practice in Kansas City for over 28 years. His training in internal medicine and dermatology was at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He subsequently completed his Mohs and dermatologic surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Glenn Goldstein is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. His practice is distinguished by being one of the few certified training sites for Mohs surgery in the country. Dr. Goldstein is the past president of the American Cancer Society and the Kansas City Dermatological Society. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the KU Medical Center. He is the author of over 40 medical publications.

Dr. Howard Luber founded Southwest Skin Specialists in 1989 with the goal of providing the best dermatologic health care in the Phoenix, Arizona, community. Dr. Jennifer Holman received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2004, graduating with special academic distinction. During her residency in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Missouri, she was awarded a Women's Dermatologic Society mentorship grant to work with the pediatric dermatology department at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mark Fleischman is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has earned numerous scholarships, awards, and honors including Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa. Each year since 2010, Dr. Fleischman has been named by his peers as a Super Doctor of Kansas City, recognized by Kansas City Magazine (435 Magazine) or as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. Most recently, Dr. Fleischman was selected as one of Kansas City's Top Doctors and featured on the cover of the October 2021 Ingram's magazine special Medical Edition honoring the region's best health care providers.

Michael Anderson attended Iowa University on a football scholarship followed by the University of Utah College of Nursing where he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He earned his nurse practitioner graduate degree from Chamberlain University.
Although Michael's interest in dermatology began during his clinical training in nursing school, he began his career in pain management. After years of burnout in the ER/hospital and pain management fields, he made the decision to shift to dermatology in pursuit of a better work/life balance.
Michael practiced medical and surgical dermatology for five years in Arizona prior to relocating to Austin. Michael is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurse Association. His clinical interests include acne and skin cancer prevention and treatment.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Michael and his wife made the decision to move to Austin for better education and opportunities for their children; plus he's always had a fondness for Texas. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports, and being outdoors. He also loves the Austin food scene.
