Dr. Dee Ann Kuster

Dr. Dee Ann Kuster earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She joined Geneseo Veterinary Service in 2020. Dr. Kuster is a Geneseo native, growing up on the family farm just north of town. She and her husband Chris live outside of Geneseo with their three kids and diverse animal collection. In her free time she loves being outside (yard work, riding, taking care of her flowers, hiking, etc.), helping 4-Hers with their animals and working with horses.

Dr. Grant Venema

Dr. Grant Venema grew up in Morrison, IL and later moved to Geneseo where he completed high school. As a boy, he loved reading the memoirs of veterinarian James Herriot and dreamed of one day having a mixed animal practice of his own where he could make a lifetime of memories helping the people and animals of his community. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2004, and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2009. In June 2013 he purchased Geneseo Veterinary Service from retiring veterinarian Dr. Roger Pray. In his free time, Dr. Venema enjoys outdoor activities with his family such as fishing, camping, and hiking. He lives in Geneseo with his wife Erica, their four children, Penny the Chorkie, and Peter the cat.

Dr. Julie Snodgrass

Dr. Julie Snodgrass grew up outside of Kirkwood, Illinois, and joined Geneseo Veterinary Service in 2023. She attended Iowa State University, where she earned her bachelors in Genetics in 2014, and met her husband Lance. She then attended University of Illinois for veterinary school, graduating in 2018. Dr. Julie has practiced in food animal and small animal settings, and has interests in soft tissue surgery, preventive care, and low-stress handling for any species. She and her husband have one daughter and one son. They also share their home with a cat named Josey, an Australian shepherd named Brandy, and a "vet school mutt" named Tig. Dr. Julie enjoys music, hanging out with her family, and a variety of outdoor hobbies.
