The B "No. 266" barge flipped over and sunk in Stamford, Conneticut on October 17th, 2007. Gladsky Marine was called in and, using the "par buckle" method, the overturned and submerged barge was righted, lifted to the surface and dewatered. The operaton was completed inside of four days restoring the harbor to navigation. The barge was returned to the owners to be refurbished and returned to service.
