At Greenland™, our roots are strong. In 1960, John Chichak started the company, specializing in lawn maintenance with a small garden centre in north Edmonton. In 1989, John's children - Deborah, Tim, Wayne, and son-in-law Rod, decided to build a garden centre that was to be a year round destination for gardening, home décor and so much more. The new Greenland™ was built in Sherwood Park and celebrated its grand opening on April 23, 1991... It's been over six decades since Greenland™ was first established and we continue to be a family business that serves families throughout Alberta.
