Douglas Walker is a lifelong learner and educator with a specialty in assistive technology for those with visual impairment. He's taught in a wide variety of settings: from the Tennessee School for the Blind, to West Tennessee as an itinerant educator/consultant, to Vanderbilt as an adjunct professor, to Hadley to head up our assistive technology team.
Most recently Douglas has assumed a leadership role Hadley, developing new ways to engage and empower those facing vision loss.
Walker holds a master's degree in education from Vanderbilt University.

Ed Haines has been with Hadley for over 15 years, currently serving as Chief Program Officer.  Ed has enjoyed a 25-year career in the field of vision rehabilitation, working for both state and private agencies as an administrator, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and Vision Rehabilitation Therapist.
He is a graduate of Western Michigan's Blindness and Low Vision Studies Program and is a Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist.

Julie has devoted her entire professional career to non-profit management. With an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School, she started out in hospital management at Lutheran General then moved to the administrative staff of Parkside addiction treatment centers. From there, Julie was chosen to head up The Cradle, one of the country's leading child welfare agencies.
Tye started at Hadley in the spring of 2016 and has implemented a strategic redirection in 2020 which has already resulted in significant growth of organizational impact.

Kirby has spent his entire career developing win-win partnerships with a wide range of organizations.
Prior to joining Hadley, Kirby spent 10 years focused on partnerships to provide online training to adoptive and foster parents. Previously, he worked for Hewlett-Packard as an IT Consultant and has held several leadership positions focused on operations, education, and training.
Kirby holds a degree in Business Administration.

Marc has dedicated his entire career to serving others in the non-profit sector. Upon earning his BA in Psychology, he worked in the state child welfare system conducting assessments and crisis interventions, as well as teaching behavioral management strategies. From there, he shifted his focus to the field of infant adoption where he helped in the screening, support, and training of prospective adoptive parents.
In his current position, Marc is dedicated to building organizational understanding and connections and, through his certification in qualitative research, continually improving our services to those with vision loss.
