Hermosa Montessori School was founded in 1978 and remains locally owned and operated by its founder and head of school. Hermosa has a distinctive Tucson location especially chosen for its beauty. Hermosa is located on 16 acres within the Tanque Verde Valley, near Fort Lowell and Soldier Trail. The natural desert areas provide a perfect setting for the children to experience and learn about the world of nature.
