My name is Christian Brim. I am a graduate of Patrick Henry High School! I was a state Track runner and a district Champ Softball player! I went on to get a Track Scholarship to Virginia Union University where I then graduated with a bachelor's in Child Physical and Mental Health! I've been working at Hanover Academy for 10 years. I've had an amazing time working with the staff and the children and I am so so excited for the new year!
I have been Administrative Assistant at Hanover Academy for over 6 years. My daughter went to Hanover Academy through 8 th grade and I just continued to volunteer at the school until my retirement from the government in September of 2014. I started as a volunteer in the front office in January 2016 and just never left. I love visiting my family and friends in North Carolina, Florida and up and down the east coast. I love reading, and spending time with my daughter and friends.

I can't believe that I've been Head of School at Hanover Academy for over 27 years. Of course, if you love what you do, it's not just a job! My passion is serving the students of Hanover Academy and their families and I take great pleasure in celebrating our students and their accomplishments. I feel so blessed each day to be part of such a wonderful school community and I consider all the students, past and present, and staff part of my extended family!

When my daughter started kindergarten at Hanover Academy, I began volunteering wherever I could. Fast forward about four years, and I started subbing for any and every class that needed me. When our beloved Spanish teacher accepted a different position at Hanover Academy leaving a vacancy that was challenging to fill, I knew I had to talk to Mrs. Thomas about it. I like to say that since I was here most of the time anyway, they gave up and offered me a staff position. I love learning Spanish and sharing this process with growing minds… but don't worry, I still get plenty of volunteer time in, too, as co-president of the Patrons Association.
While not at school, I love spending time with my family, snuggling with my dog, and listening to audiobooks. Wherever I am and whatever I do, I try my best to spread sunshine wherever I go. Be the reason someone else smiles… it will change your life!
My name is Sarah Yager. I am the Pre-School Program Director at Hanover Academy. I also teach in our Pre-k 1 class. I have been in child care for over 15 years. I have been at Hanover Academy for seven years. I love working with all age groups. I have a CDA in Early Childhood.
I have a wonderful family. I have a son who is a student at Hanover Academy and a one-year-old little girl. They are an amazing blessing to my family.
