We are a third generation family owned store. Our history dates back to 1946 when Ford Hurlbutt began repairing jewelry for an eventual 35 jewelry stores in the Lansing area. Hurlbutt then founded H & H Jewelry Design in 1971 with Keith Harsh, hence the two H's. Our own retail store opened in 1999... We specialize in jewelry repair, appraisals, and designing custom jewelry. Unlike many jewelry stores, we have in-house, experienced goldsmiths for all of your jewelry needs. Jannine (Harsh) Alexander (Granddaughter of the original Harsh) has been goldsmithing for over 28 years; her husband, Ron, adds an additional 35 years of experience. With over 60 years of combined goldsmith and jewelry repair experience for thirty-five different stores, we have done it all and seen it all! Consultants Carrie Smith (20 years) and Amanda Smith (2 years) also add a wealth of experience to help you make informed decisions about your jewelry purchases.
