Alyssa Karsas

Alyssa is our Front Office Manager at Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery. She joined the WFPS staff in July of 2012. Her smile is the first one to greet you when you arrive at our office and she prides herself in making every patient feel warmly welcomed and highly valued. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition Science in 2011. She has also been classically trained in voice and piano and was a former Miss Anderson in 2006 & Miss Central Indiana in 2007. Alyssa loves engaging in physical activity, volunteering and spending time with her loved ones. She also enjoys cheering on her son at all of his athletic events.

Dr. Catherine Winslow

Dr. Catherine Winslow is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who believes that optimal outcomes are achieved through a combination of artistic abilities and a thorough understanding of the science involved in surgery. In fact, Dr. Winslow recently scored the highest in the nation on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), underscoring her ability and dedication to her practice. She is determined to provide the highest quality of medical care and surgical outcomes that can be achieved. Dr. Winslow started her medical career at the Indiana University School of Medicine. After graduating with honors, she then completed an Otolaryngology residency at the University of Colorado. Her desire to take her skills to another level led her to Portland, Oregon, where she completed a fellowship in microvascular and facial cosmetic surgery. She then proceeded to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. As Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Walter Reed for four years, Dr. Winslow honed her skills in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. From facial cosmetic procedures to microvascular and trauma cases (from Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq), Dr. Winslow enjoyed a large practice and served America's finest with distinction. She was asked to serve as the Otolaryngology Consultant to the White House, a privilege she accepted with honor. Dr. Winslow still returns to lecture to The White House medical staff periodically. She was selected to serve as an examiner for the ABFPRS and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ABOto) national examination boards, indicating her position as one of the top surgeons in the field nationally. She serves on facial plastic and microvascular committees for the American Academy of Otolaryngology. She has written numerous articles, given lectures all over the country, and maintains a strong interest in teaching. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor for Indiana University School of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is a diplomat of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She was recently awarded the Torchbearer Award by the State of Indiana for her accomplishments and contributions. She focuses on facial cosmetic enhancement, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. She simply is one of the most experienced, qualified facial plastic surgeons in the country.

Jessica Brenner

Jessica is our Front Office Coordinator and enjoys interacting with and helping WFPS patients feel and look their best. She graduated from Aveda Institute and is a licensed medical aesthetician and a small business owner. She routinely uses her aesthetic knowledge to help guide patients on what treatments are best for them when they call the office. Her warm personality and caring demeanor helps all patients feel at ease when they arrive. She is a full time mom but enjoys working part time to help our patients and keep our office running smoothly. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her husband and 3 children.

MARIA CHRISTENSON

Maria is a Certified Sedation & Medical Aesthetics Nurse at WFPS. In addition to surgery she also performs MiraDry treatments for patients. Maria earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University and has worked as an operating room nurse for over 25 years. She has surgical experience in all specialty areas including oncology and level one trauma, as well as plastic surgery. Maria is married with two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her happy place is being on or near the ocean.

Nicole Brink

Job Titles:
  • Office Coordinator
Nicole is our Office Coordinator and has been with WFPS since 2011. She is our Human Resources contact, and also handles inventory of retail products and various other office functions to keep things running smoothly. She went to Vincennes University and IUPUI. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital in surgery as a Certified Surgical Technologist on their Ortho/Neuro team for 7 years and specialized in Brain and Spine surgery. She has also worked for Spine-tech and Medtronic as a Clinical Spine Specialist. She is married to Dr. Chad Brink, and they have two daughters and two German Shepherd dogs.

RACHEL LONG

Rachel is Dr. Winslow's Patient Care Coordinator and she loves to work closely with Dr. Winslow & connect with our patients to help them achieve their goals. She believes everyone should feel great about themselves, and age is nothing more than a number! It is her goal to make every patient feel welcomed and comfortable. The truth is we all have things that we are self conscious about, and talking about those vulnerable things can sometimes be intimidating. Rest assured, Rachel will make you feel right at home, like you are chatting with an old friend. She will be there to help guide you through your entire surgical journey. Rachel is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelors Degree of Science with a double major in Public Relations/Advertising & Marketing. She has enjoyed her Marketing career which has taken her through various disciplines to include print media and advertising, sales, economic development, and healthcare. Growing up in a medical family, patient care has always been close to her heart. Rachel has 3 beautiful children and a Golden Retriever that own her heart, so life can be crazy sometimes. When she gets some downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, promoting Autism advocacy, writing, live music, traveling, and putting her feet in the sand!

TORI PHELPS

Tori is a licensed medical aesthetician who graduated top of her class from the Summit Salon Academy in Anderson. She is also a graduate of Anderson University where she received her double major in Graphic Design and Public Relations. She has a passion for improving aging and sun damaged skin, as well as helping her clients feel great in the skin they are in! In her free time, Tori is a bunny mom to rescue rabbits, and a a small business owner. Tori is passionate about continuing her education so that she can master all of the science to help her clients no matter the issue!
