This was Walter and Judith Munk's original vision for IGPP and one that continues today... IGPP is a division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego where researchers study global seismology, marine seismology and geodesy, geodynamics, geomagnetism, geodesy and more... More than the Oceans... Our multidisciplinary program offers graduate students a unique hands-on, collaborative learning environment. In addition to our core academic curriculum, we emphasize observational techniques, the collection of novel datasets, and development of cutting edge analysis methods.
