IAC - Key Persons
Dr. Bryan Rasmussen is the Leland T. Jordan Professor II of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received his B.S. degree from Utah State University in 2000, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and 2005.
His research focuses on intelligent building and industrial energy systems. He is also the director of the Texas A&M Industrial Assessment Center, a US Dept. of Energy program that trains students to conduct energy assessments for industrial manufacturing facilities. He was awarded the NSF CAREER and the ASHRAE Young Investigator awards for research, and is the recipient of various teaching awards. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
Mr. Eggebrecht has over forty-six years of experience in both the public and private sector, seventeen years of experience with Conoco oil and gas production, and thirty years with the Energy Systems Laboratory. While at the Energy Systems Lab. Jim has directed the Industrial Energy Technology Conference for twenty-seven years. Mr. Eggebrecht received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
