At Intercultural Montessori, we are committed to cultivating a multicultural environment that is built on the values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging as we inspire children to become citizens of the world. At all levels of the organization, we endeavor to foster an environment that honors diversity, examines and addresses privilege, actively works to dismantle structural and institutional racism/bias and embeds racial equity in our decision making and internal and external processes. We commit to co-creating a culture of inclusion where the presence, voices and ideas of staff, parents, children, and everyone in the community is represented, heard, valued and acted upon... We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, with a fiduciary Board of Trustees and a strategic plan. The origin of our school dates back to 1985... Dual-Language Intercultural Montessori School in Oak Park Chicago's West Loop for students aged 3 through 8th grade. Spanish, Japanese Chinese.
