Dr. Brito holds a Bachelors, Masters, and PhD in Civil Engineering specialising in Structural Engineering from Florida International University. For several years he was a professor at Florida International University, where he taught several engineering courses, ranging from Engineering Drawing (AutoCAD) to Surveying. Dr. Brito received his Professional Engineer license in 2007. He is a recipient of the Ingeniero Ysrael A. Seinuk, PE Award in recognition of his academic achievements in the field of Structural Engineering by La Asociación de Ingenieros Cubanos (Association of Cuban Engineers).
